Love what you can't have

-Moving to Miami didn't seem... right. Something was going to happen, I could sense it. I knew it. But I didn't ever think it would change my life like it did...

Violet, your not so typical teenage girl who's father is by the way a billionaire, had to move to Miami from London. Never in a million years did she think that she would meet five boys that would change her life the way they did..

2. Home, Sweet Home

I sighed and stepped out of my Honda. What was the hell was I going to say to my dad? Hey dad, you've destroyed my life or Hi dad, can I go live with Aunt Maureen until I'm 18? Or maybe I'll give him the silent treatment for the rest of my life? I slammed my car door and strode into the building, heading straight towards the glass lift. I pressed the button number seventeen and felt the lift rise from the ground.

I felt the suspense and anxiety building up inside of me. I thought I was going to burst, just like a bubble does when you touch it. Or like a balloon does when you stab it with a pin. Oh, who was I kidding I couldn't just waltz into our apartment like nothing was wrong, could I. Or could I. Maybe I could make it to my bedroom without being heard or noticed. A slight mission impossible but everyone knows strict parents make sneaky kids, and God is my dad strict.

I carefully and slowly opened the front door, wishing it not to creak. As soon as it was opened up enough I squeezed  through the gap, and crept into our enormous living room.

"Hiya Honey", said dad as I tip-toed into the room. Oh great, I sighed, this was a perfect scenario. I am so happy right now. I decided with giving him the silent treatment. I just started walking to my bedroom, like I usually would when I came in from school. Casual and cool.

"Oh okay not speaking to me, that's alright with me. I left out your big Louis Vuitton bag out as it your favorite, and your headphones, Ipod and your laptop." He said", Oh and there's some new books I thought you may like to read on the jet because we'll be on it four about seven to eight hour journey. Oh yes do it now we have to be at the airport by five o'clock. So...... quick march!"

My mouth dropped open into an 'O' shape, and I couldn't keep my voice inside me.

"WHAT!!!!!!!! How could you do this to me!"I began to feel tears stream down my cheeks."You've taken everything I've ever had, you've ruined my whole life. You are not my dad!" I screamed at him and he didn't even flinch at the words I said. He was an horrid emotionless man, that isn't my dad.

I ran into my room, tears still streaming down my face. Soon after, almost straight after, there was a knock on my door just before some man entered my room.

"I guess I'll pack but you have to get changed yourself. Oh and I forgot to tell you that your Honda has been sold and I have brought you a new car that's waiting at our new place",he said bleakly. Well that wasn't really a surprise compared to everything. His hand came and wiped a tear away just before I swatted it away.

"Cheer up Violet, Florida's a lot nicer than London. You'll get a tan, be able to go to the beach everyday and I'll let you take your new friends to Disneyland sometimes and you'll be able to swim with dolphins. You loved that when you were younger. Look honey, I'm just doing what I think is best for you, so don't be angry at me", he said suddenly so kind and gentle. I was kind and gentle as well so I forgave him and started to pack my hand luggage.

I got out of my school uniform and changed into the outfit left out for me. A little floral skirt, a white vest top and a sleeveless denim jacket. As well as long white rolled down socks and black painted Dr Martins, my favorite.

"Honey", he called to me."It's time to go!" He sounded so excited. Then again, I guess I was too. I grabbed my bag and hurried to the elevator with my dad.
