Ariana Rae Krallem was your average 17 year old. She was 5'6", somewhat tan, had beautiful long brown hair, dazzling chocolate brown eyes, and was all over a very beautiful girl with a beautiful heart of gold. She was very insecure though. Her life was pretty normal. Her father was dead, though. She lived with her mother and 12 year old brother Liam. But when their world is turned upside down, and the family's house is destroyed, the Krallem family is forced to flee from their home and live in a fancy 5 star hotel until ready to either rebuild their fire-ruined house or buy a new one. When Ariana finds herself in the wrong room, she comes face to face with two boys from the worlds most popular boy band, One Direction. She flees instantly, her insecurities and fears coming to life. But when she catches the eye of one of the boys, and accidentally leaves her phone behind, will her life be changed forever?

7. My Mystery Girl

Niall's POV

As me and Lou made our way out of the lift and into the lobby, I noticed it was pretty much deserted. Good. It was late and if anyone was to notice us we'd never be able to get out of here. I looked at Louis with a bit of a nervous ache in my stomach. "How do we explain our situation?" I asked him.

Louis smirked and flipped his hair gently. "Leave that to me, Niall." Louis chuckled and started making his way to the front desk. Once there, the lady almost instantly recognized us both, her eyes widened in shock. She knew she had to stay professional, though, and so she quickly kind of threw it off. "How may I help you gentleman?" The lady asked us, finishing her question with a perky smile.

Louis flashed her a smile back. "We seemed to have found a phone belonging to our friend, Miss Ariana Krallem. We were wondering if we could get her room number to return it?" The lady blinked, "Sorry, Sir, we have a customer confidentiality." She declined us. "We could happily return it!" Louis let out a dramatic sigh, then leaned forward and whispered something in the lady's ear. She nodded and 'hmmmm'd and 'huh'd a few times, then sighed. "Alright. The Krallem family is assigned to room 2437." She whispered, keeping her eyes peeled for other employees in case she was caught. "That is all i can tell you."

Lou and I gave her a whole-hearted thanks and left, headed back towards the lift. "What did you say to her, Louis?" I asked him as we both simultaneously stepped into the lift. He laughed, and shook his head. "Nothing you need to worry about, Nialler."

I rolled my eyes and shrugged. Fine, whatever. I checked my watch. It was past midnight already?! Damn! "We'll have to catch her in the morning. It's already after midnight and she's probably asleep." Louis nodded as I kept thoughts to myself. Man was I the luckiest man in the world! She was right across the hall, only a few steps away from destiny.

My thoughts were shaken as the elevator stopped, landing to our floor. I got out and Lou and I made our way back to the room, opening the door swiftly. I couldn't help but steal a peek at room 2437 and smile to myself before going in.

"Soooo, how's mystery girl?" Harry knitted his eyebrows together, trying so hard not to smile. "Her name is Ariana, thank you. And she's right ac- Good. She's good. I'm going to go to her room in the morning and return her phone." I mumbled. No way in hell would I let Harry know she was right across the hall. He would've gone straight over there right now and I knew that.

"I'm going to bed." I mumbled, pretending to act tired and shuffling off to my room, changing into my sleeping attire -which was just my boxers and a tank top- and crawling into bed. I wasn't actually tired, I just wanted privacy. I wanted to think. Was I really smart for starting to get feelings for a girl I had only known for about 3 seconds? I don't know. Maybe I was maybe I wasn't. But there was just something about her that made my heart thump. She was different. She was.. My Mystery Girl.
