6. party

After 2 hours, I was finally ready to go to Ryan's. I’d chosen to wear a pair of high waisted denim shorts, and had tucked in a sleeveless navy blouse. I’d paired it with black heels, and had a few friendship bracelets on my wrists. Keeping my make up minimal, I’d only put on a small amount of eye liner on my eyelids, 4 coats of mascara and some lip gloss – I didn’t want to go overboard. My mum had happily let me go to Ryan's party after I’d asked her, and it was all thanks to Jai phoning her earlier to let her know where I was. She had said something along the lines of ‘I know I can trust you Abbie' and told me how the boys seemed ‘very responsible’.  I guess it’s lucky she didn’t see me when I was covered in eggs and ketchup.   “I’m off now mum and dad, see ya later!” I yelled as I ran out the door.   As soon as I got out the door, I realised I had no idea where I was meant to be going. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket and pulled it out to look at the screen.   *1 new message from unknown*   Hey, guess who?;) I forgot to tell you where Ryan lives so meet us by maccas, we’ll pick you up from there:) Jai <3   I added the number to my contacts and replied to his text.   Ok, I’ll see you there in 5 :) xx   I slid my phone back into my pocket, and walked in the direction of maccas. It was about 8ish now, but it was still light out. As much as I missed Serbia, Australia was amazing. The people here were still very nice, and even though it hadn’t been that sunny, the weather was still nice.   Just as I arrived, I heard a car pull up behind me and someone beeped the horn.   “Get in looser!” Luke shouted out the passenger seat window.   “Really Luke? Mean girls?” I said, laughing.   “It’s a good film!” He replied, somewhat offended.   I climbed into the back of the car and sat next to Jai.   “Where are James and Skip?” I asked him.   “Already at Ryan's. Want one?” Jai said, offering me some Doritos.   “No thanks, I’m not really hungry,” I replied, smiling. Truth was, I just didn’t want to end up eating a load of Doritos and making my teeth and face orange – that would not be attractive.   When we arrived at Ryan's, the music was already playing loudly, and it looked like a lot of people had turned up. I got out the car and I could feel the vibrations of the music    pumping through the ground. I followed the boys up the drive towards the front door and we walked straight on in.   It was a mess inside the house. There was food on the floor, and it looked like a lot  of  drinks had been spilled over the walls and floor. There were people everywhere, and  I  stuck close to Jai, not wanting to lose the boys.   “Do you wanna get a drink?” Jai asked me?   “Sure.” I smiled.   He handed me a bottle of WKD from the kitchen and I took a massive swig from the bottle. Jai watched me, surprised.   “Alright Abbie, calm down with the drinking, we’ve only just got here,” He laughed.   I couldn’t help it, alcohol just made me so much more confident around people.     After 6 or 7 cups of WKD, I was starting to feel a lot more confident. I was  in between  Jai and Ryan with my hands in the air, jumping to the beat of the music. ‘Hypest Hype’ by Chase & Status was blasting out of the speakers next to me, and I could feel the alcohol pumping through my veins. Pressing his body close to mine, I could feel Jai’s hot breath on the back of my head. I heard him whisper in my ear.   “I’m going to get another drink, I’ll be right back.”   I just nodded, and carried on moving my body with the music among the mass of jumbled bodies. As soon as Jai left, I felt someone else come up behind me, grabbing my hips. But I didn’t care, I was just out to have fun now. I spun around to face the guy; he was pretty good looking. He bought his face up to my ear, and spoke softly.   “You know you’re hot right?” He told me.   “You’re not too bad yourself,” I shouted back over the music. Wow, did I really just say that?   “I’m Jerry.”   “Abbie,” I replied.   He handed me a drink, and downing it quickly I continued to dance with him. I  was absorbed in the music, and Jerry ran his hands all over my body as I got ever closer to him. The alcohol was definitely taking its toll on me, and I wasn’t really aware what was going on around me anymore. I felt Jerry grab my hand and pull me away from the crowd of people and out the door. He still had his hands all over me, and he reached up behind me head, closing the gap between our faces. Pressing his lips firmly to mine, he kissed me and ran his other hand down my back. I tried to pull away, but the hand behind my head was stopping me. I lifted me arms and pushed him hard in the chest.   “What are you doing?!” I asked, gasping.   “Don’t pretend you don’t like it,” Jerry said, pushing himself back on me again. He had me against the wall now and I tried to move my head away from his.   “Stop it,” I cried, trying to wriggle free.   “Baby, stop moving,” he growled, tugging the hem of my blouse. He began tracing his hands underneath my blouse but there was no way I could get away; he was too strong. I was whimpering, trying to get him stop, but he wouldn’t.   Suddenly Jerry was pulled off me and thrown to the ground.    “FUCKING GET OFF HER YOU DICK!”
