The story starts out with grace meeting zayn before x factor. Zayn looses his phone and lost all contact with her for 2 years. Now he comes back home with the other 4 lads to be at his oldest sisters wedding. Grace is there but will they reconnect?

ATTENTION PLEASE: in this story I spell Zayns name Zain because that's what it was before the x factor... Along the way I'm going to change it to the way it's spelled now (Zayn)

6. Rainy Afternoon

Zayn's P.O.V. After she left I couldn't stop smiling. I decided to let the smile fade before I went to tell my mum I was ready to leave but she found me first. "Awww!" my mum said, pinching my cheeks slightly and my smile faded. 'Why does she do this to me?' I thought. "Both of you looked really cute together she said encouragingly. Not wanting to respond I said, "Mum, I'm ready to go." "Okay", she said, turning around and heading for the checkout counter. So there I stood, still amazed she gave me her phone number. Graces P.O.V. I walked out of the air conditioning and into the moist air. I was feeling quite giddy inside that I had spent an hour or so with someone actually entertaining and not like what I imagined a public school guy to be like. You know, the kind that stare at girls asses and never in the eye. "Gracie! It's raining!" Jenny yelled, pulling me out of my thoughts. It seemed to pour harder The closer we got to the car. I yanked open the backseat door and buckled Jenny in. Finally getting in the drivers seat and sat there panting for a good minute. I soon started the car and said "Seatbelt?" "Check" said jenny. I started to drive through the parking lot, to the road, and back home again. When we got home it was still pouring so-not wanting to get more wet- we made a run for it to the door, thankfully it was unlocked. Mum was already home along with auntie. We both stood there, in the foyer dripping water. Nobody seemed to notice that we stood there until I cleared my throat. "can we get a towel please?" I asked through my chattering teeth. "sure thing hun" my mum said, walking to go get two large towels. After we dried off and changed, we watched Jenny's favorite show 'the rugrats' for a good three solid hours even when Jenny had fallen asleep on me I was still watching it, sometimes I missed being a kid. Everything was quiet for a moment. Until my phone Vibrated On the nearby table, I let out a groan, but it didn't wake Jenny trying not to wake her I slowly leaned forward for my phone, grabbing it quickly. And my groan of despair suddenly turned into a smile
