Danté's Book of the Mad, Sad and Dangerous To Know

A collection of poems by me. Most of these are completely spontaneous so...we'll see how they turn out.
There is no overall theme to these, though I suppose "Dark" is one. Enjoy, I hope.

5. Vengeance

You are so sad,

Tears on your cheeks,

Sorrow in your mind,

Sadness on your face.

Dry your eyes,

Cease your crying,

Because by tomorrow,

You will be dying.

You thought I was kind,

You thought I was loving,

But believe me now,

There’ll be no forgiving.

The things you’ve done,

The hearts you’ve broken,

That sharp knife you plunged,

In between my ribs,

You thought me dead,

Your deeds forgotten,

But here I stand now,

As your tears stain your face.

You cry for your children,

Dead by your hands,

And think that maybe,

You have made mistakes.

Well worry no longer,

Forget your sins,

And leave your soul,

For its final judgement.

By the Great Spirit’s grace,

May you be forgiven,

But is my declaration,

That you die by my hand.

So say your goodbyes,

Ended are your days of killing,

So your spirit is condemned,

Your soul is as well.

So goodbye, scorned love,

These are your last tears,

And the last thing you’ll hear,

As you, now, die by my hand.

You know this knife,

You know what it did,

With it you severed my heart,

And destroyed my love.

It is at this point in time,

When my heart feels hate,

That your life is ended,

Oh yes, it is your fate.

So close your eyes,

I’ll make this quick,

Cease your crying,

And begin the dying.
