The Line

I wrote this about trying to start a new habit; something good for me. Unfortunately even the good things can get out-of-hand.


1. The Line

There is a fine, fine line

between commitment and addiction

A slippery slope

when you can't tell the difference.


A fear that burns

in the pits of your stomach

uncontrolled breathing

An out of proportion need.


When to stop-

this good thing turned bad

who's to say it has?


How do you find the trigger,

so not to pull it again.

How do you walk that line?
