3. The Mall

I was sitting on a bench trying to open an M&S sandwich. Damn! I cursed silently in my head. Why did they have to change the packaging on their sandwiches! I finally opened it and started chomping. I was starving having missed breakfast to get the train up here. I was wearing black flower patterned lace tights and a black shortsleeved dress with a white casual blazer thrown on over it. My pumps were sitting comfortably on my swinging feet. I watched everyone around me. I saw a flash from a camera and saw what must have been the same boy band as yesterday outside Sports.Direct. I rolled my eyes as girls crowded round them again. "What are they doing? Staying here for their vacation?!" I mumbled to myself throwing my empty packaging away.

I walked into River Island, New Look and Primark trying to get away from the swarms of girls. This was doing my head in. I had to get out of here. I found the lift that took you down to the ground level. I walked out into the fresh air, I lavished in the soft breeze rippling around me. I saw the same limo as before. I was right. This was the same boy band as yesterday. I walked over and saw a man in a suit standing beside it.

"Erm... excuse me." I said waving at him slightly

"Yes?" The guy in the suit asked his face not moving.

"Which band is this?" I asked

"One Direction." Still his face didn't move,

"Oh, thank you." I smiled and walked away, knowing I wouldn't get a response.

So that was who they were. One Direction. What a name! I went into the public library and paid to go onto a computer. I looked them up and found out who they were. Definately not my type. What did those girls see in them? I wondered. I got up and thanked the librarian before catching the train to get back home. There was no way I was going to hang about with that band about. My dad would kill me. I looked behind me as I walked to the station. The girls were coming outside. They're leaving! I screamed in my head excitedly. Turnign around to go back to the mall I overheard some of their conversations.

"They went to the toilets and didn't come back out. Do you think they're still in there?" a blonde girl asked.

I frowned. This wasn't right. Bands disappearing. Then it hit me. They were in the mall still but had put on hats or shades so they could do some ordinary shopping. Good on them!
