Summer Vacation (One Direction)

Audrey Dawson has been told the same thing for as long as she can remember. "You're too good, Audrey. You could never do anything bad."
At the end of senior year, she's finally heard it one too many times. Audrey doesn't want to be known as the goodie girl anymore. So she makes a decision to run away to London for the summer, alongside her two best friends, Bree and Destiny. What happens when Audrey's firt act of rebellion leads to more and more trouble? Especially when you throw a group of pop stars into the mix?

1. Graduation

I was biting my nails again. I hate that habit of mine, but can't seem to stop.

I sighed as Principal Kidmore stepped back up to the podium. My speech was over now, and I had recieved an applause. But Kidmore had told me that he had wanted to say something about his favorite student. What is he going to say about me? Graduation is so embarrassing.

"That was an amazing speech from this year's valedictorian, Audrey Dawson! Audrey is an amazing member of our student body. She has shown dedication, intelligence, and great behavior throughout the school. Let's have another round of applause for Audrey Dawson, who's never been disruptive!" Kidmore said into the mic, which got the polite response.

My eyes widened and my jaw dropped. Even Kidmore is saying it now?! This is so humiliating!

My entire life, people have teased me because I've never broken the rules. I mean, I'm an 18 year old girl. Apparently I'm supposed to have done something by now. But, no. I've always preferred being the good child.

Kidmore concluded the ceremony, and we all threw our hats in the air. I made my way to my friends, who were screaming like a bunch of idiots.

"Great speech, Drey!" Destiny grinned as she linked her arm through mine.

"Thanks, Des." I replied. We walked out with the crowd, and went our separate ways to find our parents.

"Oh, Audrey! You did SO good, honey!" my mom gushed as she hugged me tightly.

"Thanks, mom." I said.

"Your principal had some nice things to say." my dad noticed.

"Ya, I guess."

My brother, Sam, rolled his eyes, "Goodie."

Sam is my twin brother. We share the same golden hair and slightly sun kissed skin. Also, we have the same big blue eyes. His hair is trimmed, and his body is well built, while my hair is long and curly, and my body is thin. We were completely different otherwise. Sam is cool, and popular, and always in trouble. He barely graduated, with a C average, and is also totally tall. I on the other hand, have a spotless record, have never gotten lower than an A- in my life, and am totally short.

"Now isn't the time to make fun of me, Sam." I stated.

"Audrey's right." mom agreed, "You should be more like your sister, Sam."

"What? Only have two friends? Or live a boring life?" Sam snapped.

"Sam!" dad scolded.

I rolled my eyes, "Forget it, dad. I'm still allowed to have Destiny and Bree over tonight, right?"

"Of course, sweetie." dad said with a smile.

I forced a smile onto my face as well, and we all got into the car.

I raised an eyebrow at my two best friends as they walked through the door.

"Did you pack for one night or one month?" I questioned.

"Two months, actually." Bree corrected, "And I suggest you get packing too."

"What are you talking about?"

"We can't talk here." Destiny whispered, "We'll explain in your room."

I hesitantly nodded, and the two girls walked past me. We got to my bedroom, and I closed the door behind us.

"Okay, we have a plan, and we want you to come with us." Bree said.

"What do you mean 'come with you'? Where are you going?" I asked.

"London." Destiny answered, "We're going to London, England for the summer."

"Cool. Your parents are taking you to England?"

Destiny and Bree looked at each other uncomfortably. Bree sighed, "Um, no. Our parents would never let us go."

"That's too bad." I said, "It would have been a fun trip."

"We're still going, Audrey." Bree stated.

My eyes widened, "What?!"

"We're sneaking out. And going to London." Destiny explained

"Guys, you can't just do that! Do you know how much trouble you would get in?!" I cried.

"Ya, but AFTER we've had the best summer of our lives!" Bree countered.

"And we want you to come with us." Destiny concluded.

My jaw dropped, "My parents would freak! Why would I ever do that?!"

"Maybe to get rid of your reputation?" Bree suggested.

"You've been a goodie your entire life, Audrey! Do something bad for a change!" Destiny begged.

I stopped arguing for a second, and thought about it. Nobody sees me and doesn't think of my spotless record. Maybe this could work...

Wait. What am I thinking?

"I'm not doing that!" I cried.

"Audrey, I think you should. Your life is a bore! Do something crazy! Do something fun!" Bree begged.

I thought about it some more. If I did this, my parents would freak. But would it be worth it? Nobody would call me 'goodie' again. I wouldn't be known as the girl who's never been bad.

I took a shaky breath, "I'll do it."

Bree and Destiny clapped their hands excitedly, "Yay!" they squealed.

"Should I start packing, then?" I asked.

Destiny nodded, "Ya, pack as much as you can."

"But Audrey?" Bree called. I looked up from my dresser and raised an eyebrow.

"We'll pay for your flight. But only if you agree to do everything we tell you starting now."

I swallowed the lump in my throat. Destiny and Bree are crazy girls; not like me at all. If they are telling me to do something, about 85% of the time it was something crazy. But I also couldn't pay for a trip to London.

"Fine. I promise." I said.

Destiny smirked, "We leave at midnight."
