Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly. Fly to a far away world and never come back. Emily did. Her life was at rock bottom and was never going to be picked back up again. Until she met someone. Someone who would change her life forever. When she finds who and what he his her life is fine. Until the pain kicks in and changes her too...

4. Leaving, quickly

How had he gone like that? Straight from his seat with out me noticing. It was impossible to go from there to through the window in the blink of a eye without me noticing, wasn't it? There must be something that I didn't know about this town. Something that is not found anywhere else. Is it found somewhere in the world that hasn't been explored? That question was still lingered in my head when a dark, eerie shadow loomed up to me. The light from the windows was completely blocked out like a solar eclipse.

"Erm, hello. My name is how you know: Henry Banks. I am truly sorry for what happened in the last lesson. I was wondering if I could talk to you on the way to your next which is..." his velvet smooth voice had slipped under me and carried me away to a far away land which was as smooth as pure running water. Clean and can't be captured for only one person. The faint murmuring of my voice, which was spoken in that entrancing way of his, lulled me further in to that deep loving sensation which was my ideal home. The voice began to be more urgent and concerned, sadly I was forced to swim through the loving place I was in and snap back to that boring conversation with him. Thankfully it was like swimming through setting glue which made the longer to snap out and more time in the perfect place.

"Oh, it's Spanish with Miss Harriet. Sorry I had felt rather giddy then." I had barely whispered. Again I a looked in to his mesmerizing emerald eyes I found myself so lost. I must have been very convincing, because at the very next second I found myself sitting in the hall out side the medical room. His hand was radiating comforting heat on my forehead. It had sent a pleasing chill up my back. This had obviously sent the wrong message and I had suddenly got a thermometer in my mouth and a boiling hot ice pack on the small of my back. It seemed hotter than usual Miss Feathering-ton had somehow fallen asleep. There was a pleasant squeeze that had made me realise why it was so hot His hand was holding it to the very place that made me feel that we were dancing back in the 1800's.

"Henry," I squeaked through my confusion, "where are we may I ask? And also what time is it?"

"12:10 precisely. You have been out for quite a while."

As he said those words his fingers played with a lock of my hair that had fallen. I had been out for nearly 3 hours. I slowly adjusted to this, mean while my ripped his hand off the warm pack and I threw that on the floor. I stood up and picking my bag with some urgency. The strap was not ready so let out a sharp snap as it had suddenly tightened, Henry had stood up ready to grab me if I fell. I nearly did, but steadied myself just as I felt myself fall. He had reached for me but I had turned and stomped on his foot hard. As he winced in pain my hand had caught part of his t-shirt which, as a stormed off, ripped as I left with it still in hand. I ran out the school entrance. Wondering, why on earth had I just lost it. With the boy who left me. The boy who actually cared for me. I slapped my face hard for what I had just done. Leaving a bright red print tattooed across my cheek.
