10. A Fixed Life

Daniella continued to watch me for a few moments after I had finished my story. She clearly wanted to know if there was more to come, but that was it. I was done. I had told someone my whole life story, and, now, I could leave it behind. I had my life at the Vet surgery, I had my dog and my work colleagues. I had my next door neighbour, who was brilliant. I had the flirty guy who worked at the surgery, I was sorted. I could leave it behind.

My life was fixed.
