Bullied

Penny was bullied for something she didn't have- popularity. She had been tormented all her life, and if only she could find one way to stop it. She was tired of being the lonely one, the fat and ugly one. The one who somehow always had a sign taped to her back or an arrow pointing at her saying ' tease me'.
She was now swapping fat for anorexia, and loneliness for getting in with the wrong sort of people.

1. New School.

It was my first day at Ellwood High school. And I hadn't been looking forward to it. I knew I would be the only one there with bright ginger hair, bright freckles that appeared over night and one of the ugliest and fattest people. I really hated my life.

I scrunched my hair tightly back in two pigtails, not realising I wasn't four anymore, and I slipped on my tartan skirt and blouse. I thought that is what they wore to high school.

After pulling on my tightly- fitting sleek black school shoes, I headed out the door with my school- bag hanging off my back. It was a cold day, so I had put on a yellow hat, that matched my gloves and I had decided to wear my thick jacket, and I looked like an eskimo. I had on grey thick tights, which I wish I hadn't, because apart from anything they were very itchy. All in all, I looked like a little school girl with no dress sense and that my Mother had dressed me for some little stupid kiddy show.

But I thought I looked good, and I wanted to make a good impression on all the kids. Maybe they'd be dressed like this? I didn't know what the uniform was, and I am very good with uniform and keeping tidy. But when I arrived at the school, what I came to was not what I had hoped for.
