Life Lessons

This is a Movella filled with life lessons. It's not a story, or full of poems. It is simply full of what I've learnt from life, and what others have learnt.

28. Do Your Best

Do your best in everything you do. Just try your hardest. Sure, things might not be the best in the end, but what matters is that you give it your all.

I'm in exams at the moment, and I was thinking in between revision periods about how much more confident I am doing my summer exams than I was doing my January exams. Back in December, when I was supposed to be revising, I got seriously distracted by Wes, and fell really behind on my revision. I had 3 weeks to give it my all and I just didn't make an effort because I was too absorbed with the attention I was getting from a boy.

Now, thinking back, I wasted so much time on Wes. I could've done so much better on my January exams, I know I could, and I wish I had, but the past is the past, and what matters is that I do well this time. I feel really good about these exams. I have revised without distraction, and so far so good. I've used my time wisely and given it my all. I just want the best results that I know I'm capable of everything.

So, the moral of this story is: try your hardest and do your best. Try not to get distracted by the things that are technically not important (even if you think they are).
