But when she discovers she's a lesbian, she has to lead several different lives at once to cover up secrets that would make her friends and family ashamed. Her already complicated life starts getting harder to handle, so she asks herself: 'Would it hurt anyone to tell her sister?' She does, and that move gets her life spinning out of control. 4. The Day I Discovered

Last year, Zoey came in looking, well, different. During  the summer holidays, her long black hair had been cut into a bob, so you could see her ears better. She also was taller; probably because she was wearing small heals. I thought she looked gorgeous!

Then I realised that I was staring right at her boobs,

Her wonderful, beautiful, fantastic, amazi...

And thats when I thought I was a lesbian, but, I couldn't be sure.

I couldn't tell her though, could I? "Hey Zoey guess what!? I am a lesbian!" I don't think that would go down too well.

I obviously couldn't tell my homophobic parents, but I could tell my sister. I wasn't going to tell her just yet; I needed to be 100% sure. Later on I found I couldn't stop looking at Zoey's lips when she was talking to me; they were so smooth! Whoa! That was when I knew for sure. I am a lesbian. "I will tell Verity, she'll understand, won't she? Actually, I'll only tell her when (and if) I get a girlfriend." I thought. One year later, I still had not told a soul.
