Sorry Mum, I'm a Lesbian

Harmony lives in a Catholic household in a Church of England society, and has never found it easy. But when she discovers she's a lesbian, she has to lead several different lives at once to cover up secrets that would make her friends and family ashamed. Her already complicated life starts getting harder to handle, so she asks herself: 'Would it hurt anyone to tell her sister?' She does, and that move gets her life spinning out of control. Can Harmony pull the right strings to untangle her knotted life?

12. Home

Me and Cassie walked home together back to my house, we laughed and chatted and held hands, when we got to my street, we dropped hands and went into BFF mode, pretending that we were just two ordinary girls having a laugh and chatting. We stood in front of my over sized red door, I looked at Cassie and smiled, because mum and dad had gone somewhere with work and they were allowed to bring only two kids and I was ok with being left on 'my own'.

Cassie agreed to stay over, only because, I got a phone call from everyone, telling me not to expect them home until tomorrow afternoon. They also said something about Verity, but my mind had gone into overdrive with plans at that point. Tomorrow being Saturday, everything was go go go!!

Me and Cassie snuggled up to one another on the sofa whilst watching millions of DVD's, from comedy to horror. We watched some of the best films: Mean Girls, Harry Potter, Woman in Black, Grown Ups, Love Actually...

We were watching Titanic, when Cassie turned to me and kissed me passionately. Although it was the saddest part of the film, for us it was also the most romantic. We were at the end, and as Rose closed her eyes for the last time and the theme tune began playing, Cassie pushed herself closer to me, my fingers tangled themselves within her hair, and, her warm hands trailed patterns across my back and, our lips stayed firmly locked together. I pressed myself firmly against Cassie's curvaceous body. She leaned in towards me pushing me so my back was against the sofa. Her hands found their way to my hips and my arms wrapped around her pulling her ever closer. We didn't hear the credits come on or the door open.

It was there and then I made out with Cassie for the first time, not all clothes off, and all that stuff. Just kissing for what felt like forever.

It was there and then I realised just how much I was really in love with Cassie (head over heels in love).

It was there and then, I knew it was Cassie was the only one for me.

It was there and then that my sister walked in.
