The girl who stalked the corridors

All Alice wanted to do was work as a psychiatrist in a mental hospital, not end up in one as a patient. But as she gets more familiar with the daily routine she comes across the girl in the corridor and her most deadly horrors come to life but her insanity may not be the case, maybe she is sane after all..

18. Lust

"Alice? Alice? Alice, can you hear me?" It was Nicholas. I opened my eyes in a daze and saw Nicholas looking into me, wary but confident that I was myself and not the girl. I hadn't realized I'd been sleeping and I wondered how Nicholas had got out of the ward to see me and why he wanted me so urgently. "What is it?" I asked. "I have a surprise!" He had a cheeky grin on his face which gave me butterflies, I almost completely forgot that I was two different people.

He led me down the corridor and took me through a door into a room which I had never been in before. It was an office and was unoccupied. It took my eyes to adjust but when my eyes blurred into focus I let out a gasp.

There was a sofa and on the sofa was about four blankets. Candles sparkled around the room like stars and there was a table with some sort of wine and glasses. I was stunned.Nicholas locked the door and sat on the sofa. Patting me to come and sit next to him. I did. "Nicholas.. How on earth did you do all this? it's- it's amazing it's beautiful! No one has ever done anything like this for me before, Thank you!" I felt like crying, this was wonderful! "Your welcome! Just a little bit of help from one of the nice doctors who I became friends with" he winked, a cheeky flirty wink. Yum. "Wow! A nice doctor?" We both laughed, wow I loved his mouth. It was silent for a bit until Nicholas broke the silence. "I have this theory that if your distracted and happy some how the girl will disappear.." I think he was right and this moment was so perfect I wanted it to be happy not depressing like life. "I think your theory is right!" We laughed and drank some wine. Wow! I've never tried wine before! It tasted as if it was made by angels. The bubbles tasted like stars and flowed through my veins like a river of fairy dust.

"Alice, I love you and I've missed you, I haven't exactly been able to love you for a while.." He was staring at my mouth. "I know! I love you too, Nicholas, This is just perfect!" I opened my mouth to say something but Nicholas but his fingers to my lips and we leant in to each other and kissed.

The kiss lasted longer than usual and started to get more passionate and passionate until he started to take my clothes off and I started to take his clothes off, I lay on top of him still kissing him my whole body tingling, chocking longingly for his love, suffocated by his touch. Until we both shouted each others name's until our love could be declared no more. I never knew love felt this good. Love is better than any drug. Love is life and I knew at this point in time love was all I needed.
