11. Day 2: 4

We arrived at Simpson’s and I prayed the doors were open. I swore when they weren’t. “Not open?” Emma asked. “Nope.” Ross rubbed his hands together. “I will get it.” He stated walking back a few steps. “He’s not going to ram it is he?” I asked Emma and I shrugged. Ross disappeared round the corner, out of sight. “Why am I worried?” Emma asked. “I am as well.” We both ran for cover when Ross came leaning out of a forklift.

The forklift slammed into the doors taking them down, but t kept on going. “JESUS CHRIST!!!” Emma shouted as we ran after the forklift. Ross dove onto a pile of sand, letting the forklift take off. “You alright?” Emma asked, he rolled around on the sand laughing. “You idiot!” Emma shouted. “Scared us to death!” I threw a handful of sand at him. “Don’t be like that I got the doors open and look there’s three diggers here so we don’t need to go to your granddads.”
