Disappeared by night.

When a bunch of high school pupils find themselves to be the only people left in their little town they really don't take much notice, thinking its a prank. But then they discover its more serious than they first thought.

5. Day 1: 5

The doors to the hospital opened and Christopher and Ross threw Kyle into a room filled with equipment in the emergency section. I dug around in drawers and found bandages and a sling. I threw them towards Emma who gave them to Ross. She didn’t trust Christopher to be mature enough to bandage up Kyle’s arm. I think it was good judgement since Christopher was blowing up an antibacterial glove and pretending he was a chicken. I left Ruby in the waiting room tied to the front desk. I didn’t want her in the doctor’s room for many reasons.

I turned round when something went bang then hit the ground. On the ground was a metal pan filled with cotton wool covered in blood. “What happened?” I asked. “I was cleaning Kyle’s nose because it started bleeding and someone startled me.”  Ross glared at Christopher. “I popped the glove behind him and he overreacted.”

“Ok go wait out in the other room with Ruby.” I pointed towards the curtains that lead to the front room. He stomped out in a huff with a box of the blue rubber gloves. I shook my head and walked towards the metal bowls. Tidying up the cotton wool.

Kyle’s arm now in an ivory coloured sling with the name ‘CHRISTOPHER’ written in a purple crayon he found next to some colouring books. We took some bandages and pain killers just in case there were any more accidents. I grabbed Ruby’s lead and we headed for the shops. The streets were so empty. We looked around. The cows, sheep and scorries had vanished as well; everything had gone... apart from us. Why were we the only ones left?
