The 100th Annual Hunger Games

This is what I think would happen if the Hunger Games still continued.

Katniss and Peeta never did complete the Revolution that freed them from the Capitol, and they had to continue their lives. Shepherding children into the Arena, hoping them as much as they could, only to watch them get butchered. But this was the 100th Annual Hunger Games, a quarter quell, what was to happen, no-one knew.

8. Arrival

"Accalia?" There was a gentle knock on the door while it slowly swung open. Leo shyly stuck his head into the room, "Yeah," I answered. He took this as an invite to come into the room. He stepped towards me, hands behind his back. "Are you okay?" He sat next to me, wrapped his arm around my shoulder, and pecked a kiss on my forehead. "Yeah. Sorry about that, I don't know what came over me." I put my hand on his furthest shoulder, and buried my head into his chest. He's so warm, like his own personal Sun. He stroked my hair softly all the way through. "It's okay, we all get like that sometimes. If anyone should be able to have little moments, it should be you. You've been through a lot." I smiled, not sure if he could see it or not, but it felt appropriate. I nuzzled his neck lightly, and wrapped my arms completely around him. He embraced this. I didn't need to speak, he knew me, even though we've only meet recently.

"Leo! Accalia!" Katniss called. I moved my head round, but wasn't much bothered. "We're here! We're at the Capitol" Peeta announced. Now I was interested. Simultaneously, me and Leo left each others arms, unfortunately, and went to the window. I stuck my head out, the wind rushing through my hair. Leo did the same behind me. It was like nothing I've seen before. It was very bright, and flashy. Which in normally I couldn't like, but something was different about this place, it's beautiful. It's nothing like district 12, more civilized, more developed. But this place is a rose. It might be pretty, and elegant. But don't trust it, you might get pricked but thorns. Like I won't trust the Capitol, this place is going to be a prison for the next two weeks. But at least I'll have a cellmate. I turned to Leo behind me. He smiled down at me, and kissed me with his, soft rose like petal lips.
