15. The Tornado Goes Dress Shopping

"Do you think that the it makes her look fat?"
"No, no, of course not, dear."
"What about the color? It-"

"Hey, guys, I think this is perfect." I interruped, looking in the mirror.
Dorie and Abitha looked at each other. "Why, yes, it compliments you." Dorie said.

I was standing in a big room in the castle with racks and racks of desses and mirrors. Some were still on the hangers, but others were strewn across the room. Abitha, Dorie and I were there for the longest time until we found a dress which was a light purple silk to match my tail. The dress had white lace trimmings and pearls inbedded on the skirt. It wasn't very up to date, but it was ok for a princess coronation. I think.

Abitha shrugged. "All you need to do is make a good impression."

I hope I would. I couldn't imagine what would happen if the Shores didn't like me. I swallowed my fear and said to Abitha, "So this coronation, what do I need to do?" I asked Abitha nervously.

Abitha said, "Wouldn't think you would have to do much. Then again, I've never been to any of these coronations, so I'm not he one to talk to."

"I'm sure you will do fine, dear." Dorie said reassuringly.

Amilia chose to barge in at that moment. Amilia was my cousin, the king's daughter. She is little nightmare in disguise. Amilia was very jealous because I was next in line for the throne. Like, very, very jealous.

She looked like an angel. Her ringlet blond hair hung just above her shoulders. Her rosy cheeks were puffed out because she was pouting. Amilia's long eyelashes were beautiful, and her big sapphire eyes were wide. I had to admit, Amilia was adorable.

"What now, Amilia?" Abitha sighed and rolled her eyes. Amilia pouted some more, and then screamed, "YOU CAN'T STEAL MY THRONE, YOU INPOSTER!"

"Amilia, we went though this a thousand times. Pearl is not stealing anything." Dorie sighed with Abitha. With that, Amilia through herself at Dorie, thrashing and kicking her legs and arms.

"Whoa, there, girl!" Abitha exclaimed, catching The Tiny Terror by the arm.
Amilia pulled out of Abitha's grip, and started running with her arms out. Soon,
She became a blur, knocking forgotten dresses everywhere. Then she turned to me and knocked me to the floor.

Pinning me down, I was surprised to notice that she was very strong for a five year old. "MY KINGDOM, MY POWER! IT'S ALL MINE, YOU LYER!" Amilia screamed while trying to hit me. Then the Nightmare burst into tears. Dorie and Abitha dragged Amilia off me.

She stared me in the face and said," I'm goin' to hold my breath till' you agree to back off of my kingdom."

"Fine," Abitha said, "We don't care."

"Fine!" Amilia said and then took a deep breath.

"Abitha!" I whispered.

"What?" she answered.

"How co uld you tell her to do that?" I said, shocked.

"Don't worry. She won't die." Not that reassuring, but I believed her.

By now, Amilia had turned blue. Then purple. A couple seconds later, she fainted.
As soon as she fell to the floor, she started breathing again. Amilia did one huffy breath at me, and then ran out the door.
