Don't change

I was tired of being the geek, the loner, the fat one. I wanted more than one friend. I wanted to be popular, pretty, sexy. So I got a makeover..

20. Good to Bad

Friday got off to a good start for me, Fridays normally do. It was our fifth day back, with science (uggg) and music (yay)! I play guitar, although nobody knows, after school on Fridays the music teacher Mr Sidona would give me lessons. I was pretty good, I was going to do my Grade 6 soon. I had a main problem however, I didn't have a guitar.
To get a guitar I would have to buy one (obviously) but as I didn't have much money I would have to basically ask my mum for some. My music was the one thing I was shy about, I just didn't think it suited me, playing the guitar...
Anyway, I got up (without falling over for once!) and managed to be out the door at the right time. I walked with Max and Jasper, and even the chavvy Year 7s didn't put a dampener on my good mood. I got into form at exactly the right time, and Maya wasn't there. Apparently she had to run an errand for Miss, but as much as I missed seeing her it was a relief. I didn't like the new Maya as much...

It was during the day when things began to go downhill. I had forgotten my maths homework, so I got a detention for that (Mr Crowley is an alright guy, but he's so strict!) and in history I got sent out for a pratical joke - which was totally worth it to get Jasper back - and refusing to be quiet. This meant a call home, and I don't want anymore stress on my mum. My dad had walked out when I was born, and the extra stress with me wasn't good for her. With a heavy heart I went to break, and saw Dan Henderson standing up on the stage microphone in hand. Somehow, I just knew something bad was going to happen...
