There is something about the girl that just so happened to show up at Hogwarts, with a voice like velvet and looks that could kill, but what is she hiding?

"Well, then, would you please tell me who I need to speak to regarding a missing student, because, apparently, you can't help me," Emerald's voice echoed throughout the corridor, catching the attention of Draco Malfoy.

He stopped his usual route down the busy hall to listen in on Emerald's argument she was having with a professor that seemed to have started this year.

The professor cowered as Emerald continued, "Thank you! Thank you so bloody much for nothing!"

Emerald turned on her heel and stormed down the hall.

Draco furrowed his brow before he scrambled through the students to catch up with Emerald.

"Oi, Kettleburn," Draco called after her.

Emerald stopped, and turned around, watching Draco weave in and out of students before he came to a halt in front of her. She crossed her arms over her chest and waited for him to speak.

"Did you need something?" Emerald finally questioned him.

Draco cocked his head to the side, "Well, do you ever wonder what kind of headcase decides to make 'Kettleburn' a surname?"

Emerald scoffed at his statement as she walked away. A large hand wrapped around her wrist making her stop in her tracks.

"I was just kidding," Draco stated with a chuckle. "I was, honestly, coming to ask you, who you were talking about when you said that there was a student missing?"

"Not that it's any of your business," She said while removing his hand from her wrist. "But, I might as well tell everyone since no one is helping me. Her name is Muse."

Draco's heart pounded against his chest while Emerald continued to complain about how there wasn't anyone that could help her. He brushed past her, and continued his way out of the school.

Muse's large eyes stared aimlessly at the thin, white piece of toast that had been sitting there for hours. Draco had given it to her, along with a glass of fresh water, but he didn't leave it. He had let her take a few sips of the cool liquid, then told her he couldn't trust her with glass, before he left for school with the cup in his hand. How badly she wished she would have taken longer sips.

She moved her gaze from the piece of toast to the wooden door that had suddenly swung open. The dark silhouette of her captor stood in the doorway, adjusting his eyes to the dimly lit dungeon, before he noticed that Muse was exactly where he had left her. He stalked towards her weak body, that laid across the stone floor, and grabbed her by her throat, pinning her against the wall.

"Where is she?" Draco spoke through his teeth.

Before Muse had time to answer, Draco slammed her body against the wall again. "Answer me!" He screamed at her.

"Where is who?" She asked as well as she could with his hand tightening around her thin neck.

The grip around her throat was released, letting her body slide down to the floor.

"Muse!" He yelled while standing over her. "Where is Muse?"

Muse was confused, how could could he ask where Muse was when she was Muse? Then, she remember, "Draco's Muse" was the odd girl, with frumpy clothes that he had supposedly used, and she was suddenly glad that Draco had referred to her true form as 'Hybrid'. He never bothered asking her what her name was.

A small smirk crept across her face as she quoted him, "You mean the girl whom you 'used the only thing that would get her to tell you everything she knows about Merpeople'?"

He stood over her, fuming, while she finished, "I don't know why you would be so concerned where Muse was, unless she is your mate."

Draco's grabbed his wand out of his back pocket and pointed it at her, "What did you just say?"

Muse let out a chuckle from her dry throat. She went into a coughing fit then rolled from her back to her side, "You didn't think I'd figure it out? After all the nights you would run to the Black Lake, with your black eyes, desperate to fuck me, because you had to touch me? Then, when you touched Muse you thought, 'How is it possible that I have two mates'? I'm not stupid, Draco. You're a Veela, Draco."

With one swing, Draco's foot landed in Muse's side as he yelled at her, "How could you know that, Hybrid?" She clawed at the floor and gasped for air. He threw her against he wall, holding her up by her throat, once again.

Though she knew better, she continued with a whisper,  "What are you going to do without her, Draco?"

Muse waited for him to hurt her, but he just stood there with his eyes shut, wincing in pain. He quickly moved his hand from her throat to her wrists and pinned them above her head. Suddenly, her body was no longer against the wall, but being dragged out of the room.
