I turned to see my Dad, holding the hand of a small girl, no older than five years old. she had wings too. I frowned, trying to keep my emotions in check. This was the first I'd seen of my dad in over a year. But it was him. He had the same whitish stuble, and that little scratch across his eyebrow from when he'd gotten to close to the cats claws. I smiled, i felt tears in my eyes. I was till wearing my coat, i saw no need for it. Shrugging it off i unfolded my wings a little bit. You have no idea how good it felt. My Dads eyes widened in shock and awe.

"Oh my God, son, what happened?" Dad stuttered.

My face turned to a bitter glare,"I was hoping you could shed some light on that, Dad."

We found some lab chairs and sat, I wanted some answers, and i wanted them now. The little girl i learned could speak fluently in english, despite her age. Also that she had been experimented on, Dad had rescued her from a group of mercs called Knife, they were in charge of disposing of unsuccessful experiments. Deep stuff. After I'd chatted with the girl, Luce she said her name was, I turned to Dad. "What happened in Iraq Dad and what have you gotten us into?" He sighed, and glanced at me and Scarlet. "I hoped it wouldnt come to this. I wish it hadn't." He buried his head in his hands, then huffed out a breath, "I signed up for an experimental weapon system, it was to help airbourne tactics, totally biological, our guys had been testing it over Iraq, ninety-nine percent of cases didnt survive. But one percent did. That one percent was-"

"Me" i finished for him,"But I've never been outside the states, let alone the middle east, how did they do the tests?" I asked. "Through me, they planted developed extremely experimental nuero chips into both our heads,"(that explains the headaches) "and they tracked you and your progress, and here you are," I was still frowning. "I'm glad you're okay son. We hadnt had any contact from you for days, we were beginning to think you'd defected-"

"DEFECTED!? I'm your freakin son, not a God damn science project! Why didnt you ask me? I might've considered helping! I dont know what the fuck was going through your head when you came up with this plan, but i know one thing! It failed!" I stood kicking over my chair, stalking away, toward the door just as three tailored guys came in.

"Ah, you've all been aquainted, excellent." He had a name tag, unlike the other, his name was Hank. I hated him already. "Young Seth, a pleasure to meet you, you made quite a mess back at the hospital you were kept at, took down four perfectly DG's" He shook his head. Scarlet perked up at that point,

"What are DG's?" She asked. Hank smiled like a chesher cat smiling at alice at her,

"Disposable Guards, so much easier to make your own than hire,"  I stood infront of Scarlet, glaring at him with flames, "What do you want with us?" agin he flashed that smile, cold as steel.

"Isnt it simple? We want you to never see daylight again." with those words he grabbed my neck and knocked me with his elbow in the side of my head.
