"Good morning Edward."

"Good morning nurse."

"Please, call me Dora, we've known each other long enough for you to use my first name. Did you sleep well?"

"If I had slept, I probably would've had nightmares all night, as usual."

"Are you excited? Today is a big day huh?"

"What do you mean?"

"You're getting out today, did you forget that?"

"No, I've been thinking about it all night. It scares me."

"Scares you? Why there's nothing to be scared of Edward. Freedom is nothing to be scared about silly."

"How do you know that?"

"Well, I guess I have freedom and I'm not scared about it so..."

"But have you ever been imprisoned for forty-five years?"

"Then how can you tell me about freedom, when you've tried nothing else?"

"I guess I can't then."

"I guess you can't."

"Is there anything you'd like? I can bring you breakfast and a paper?"

"No thank you"

"Well, you still got two hours before they release you. Are you sure there's nothing I can do for you. One last wish before freedom is yours?"

"Actually, now that I'm sane, or rehabilitated as they'd say,  I'd like to share my story with you. I haven't been able to tell it yet since no one would believe a crazy person. That would be my final wish."

"O-Okay. I'll listen to your story Edward, of course."
