Inseparable ~A Harry Styles Fan-Fiction~

Lauren and Evie Brown are twin sisters, born minutes apart. Although I say they’re twins they both have very different personalities and don’t look much like twins either. Lauren, the not so much popular but still not a total freak, has the same long light brown flowing hair as her sister. Evie. Evie was the popular kind of girl, you know, the ones that get all the boys, spend ages on their appearance every morning? Yeah those, well that pretty much describes Evie. Popular. Despite their different personalities the twins are, Inseparable.

Lauren’s P.O.V

It’s been 2 weeks since Evie and I spent the night with One Direction- Harry and I are still keeping in touch, although only through text. I don’t mind though, I’m lucky enough to even have met him let alone have his number. I sigh, school tomorrow; YEY! - Note the sarcasm. It’s the last week before school breaks up for the Easter holidays and I was really looking forward to the two short weeks off school.

I make my way downstairs through the empty house; Mum and dad were at work- as usual and Evie was ‘out’ according to the bright pink sticky note stuck to the silver panel of the fridge. I dig my phone out of my pocket and begin to text Jess- one of 3 people I could actually call my friends. Everyone else in my year just saw me as ‘The boring sister of Evie Brown’.

Hey! I’m lonely u know what that means…please?

It didn’t take long for a Jess to reply as my phone vibrated nosily a few minutes later

Before I left the kitchen I grabbed a cereal bar out of the cupboard and ate it quickly on the way down the empty hallway. I stopped in front of the mirror in the hallway- I swear there are mirrors all over this house. I was wearing a simple white T-shirt with my dark blue jeans; as I approached the front door I slid my phone in my front pocket and grabbed my coat along with my Panda hat. Which I couldn’t help but laugh at as I had bought it because Harry had one just like it, sliding it over my head I grabbed my keys from the glass dish placed conveniently on a small wooden table by the door. I locked up and made my way towards Starbucks.

Starbucks wasn’t busy, it never really was. I scanned the room looking for the tall curly haired girl- probably dressed in black. Once I found her I made my way over to the table she had chosen and what do you know? She was wearing black. But that’s what I love –in a non-hobo way- about Jess; she wasn’t afraid what people thought of her. Today she had decided to wear:

“Hey!” I greet pulling the chair across from Jess out making a slight scratching noise against the tile floor in the process. “Hello!” she chirps, the coffee in her hands starting to take effect “You okay?”  I ask, starting a conversation “Yep, you?” she replies “Great! I met One direction last Saturday!” Jess just rolled her eyes, “Why do you like them exactly?” she asks “Why don’t you like them exactly?” I joked “Well for a start, their music all sounds the same, I honestly think that Lewis-”She begins but I cut her off “Louis” I correct “I honestly think Louis is gay…not that I have anything against gays, they have no sense of style, they’re no-” “Okay! Okay, I get it! You don’t like One Direction!” I exclaim cutting Jess off in the process “Exactly what I’ve been trying to tell you for the past year” she states a triumphant smirk on her face, I just glare in response “I’m gonna go get a Tea, do you want anything else?” I offer “I’m alright” She replies I nod my head and stand up just as the bell above the door rang signalling there was a new costumer or customers in this case. Walking through the doorway into the nearly empty Starbucks was Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles.

A lump formed in my throat stopping any kind of ‘fan-girl squeal’ from escaping my lips- which I was happy about. Harry’s eyes met mine as I stopped mid-way towards the counter “Hey look Harry, its Lauren!” Louis yells excitedly running over to me catching the attention of the elderly couple in the corner, the lady behind the counter and of course Jess- they were the only other people in the room apart from Harry, Louis and I. Harry soon follows behind Louis I noticed he was wearing his signature purple Jack Wills hoodie along with his Panda hat. “Hey guys” I say my attention shifting from each of the boys in front of me every second or so.  “You hear alone?” Harry questions “Uh, no I’m with my friend- Jess” I reply still shifting my gaze from the two of them “We can join you then!” Louis says clapping his hands like a retarded seal “Um, I don’t think that’s such a good idea…” I say trailing off “Why not?” Louis replies pouting ‘dramatically’ I stifle a laugh “Well, Jess…she isn’t much of a fan” I say my gaze stopping on Harry before I add; “In fact, she really doesn’t like you”. “We can change that” Harry declares a dimple filled smile upon his face “If you say so…” I say quietly heading over to Jess.

“Jess?” I question, getting her attention; she looks up from her nearly empty mug of coffee her eyes landing on Harry and Louis behind me- eyebrows knitting together in confusion. She didn’t recognise them.  That was good…I guess. “This is Harry and Louis” she stares at me blankly her eyebrows rising upwards after looking staring at the boys “Care to elaborate?” she questions “Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson” she continues to stare blankly at the boys who so far remained silent behind me and after a few more seconds of staring blankly I could see a sort of light bulb turn on in her head before she smirks evilly at the boys I turn to look at the boys who both gulped in sync “Told you so..” I smiled “Have a seat boy’s Lauren and I were just talking about you” I chuckled to myself, that was another thing I loved- again no-homo- about Jess; her dark sense of humour.
