1. Chapter. 1
As victoria and Trevor pushed the old oak book shelf back, Victoria stood on her trainers laces and stumbled into a large, deep pile of leaves. As the leaves scratched and crinkled against her bright yellow rain coat, Trevor put out his hand for her to grab. She smiled weakly as if to be embarresed and put her small hand upon Trevors. Trevor pulled her up and sighed. "What on earth has mother and father to do with you?". "Well nothing I'm perfectly fine aren't I?" Said Victoria dusting herself off. They both stared at the large shelf of oak. Trevor rubbed his hand over it. He glanced at his hands that were now filthy and covers in dust. "Right then, Shall we start heaving this old chunk of wood out the way? Mother and Father are expecting it for tonight. And it's already getting quite dark." Victoria nodded along with her brother and started to push. The Book shelf scratched against the concrete floor that was covered in hay from the barn. It slowly moved and crashed into the wall. Trevor ran to check if it was okay. "Phew," he sighed. "-Just some marks, we can paint over it." But His sister wasn't paying close attention, she was pearing into a large window that was behind the shelfs. "Trevor! Trevor! If we could shatter this glass panel we could see whats in there. It looks pretty thin," she said excitedly.
Victoria aimed her rock at the glass but Trevor stopped her. "You can't do that!"
