If You Tolerate This Then Good For You

More poetry from the master of ignoring important things and people in order to write inane rubbish.

9. The Somnambulist

She plays with me while I sleep, the deepest sleep I have ever known. I do not feel anything, emotions are not mine to be shown. If I awake, the room will quake and all my dreams will be for naught. She whispers in my ear, tells me everything is okay. I cannot respond, for I am asleep anyway. The procession of people, beneath the church steeple, crying for a lost cause. The house in which we lived, its walls are bare. The memories I hold, we do not share. Everytime I look, upon our life's book, our writing differs too much.
