These are the actual transcripts of an interview held by Sheriff John-Paul Lennox with Harry Cobain. (Real name omitted to protect identity, location also omitted.)

Third Interview, 8th August 2011

Sheriff John-Paul Lennox (J): I know you've spoken to my deputies Harry, but I have some information.

Harry Cobain (H): Why is no one telling me if Derek or Francis are alright?

J: We'll get to that Harry. Let's start at the very beginning, it'll help you understand.

H: Understand what?

J: December 23rd 2006, can you tell me what happened?

H: What is this? What is this about? Where are my friends?!

J: Harry! Answer the question, what happened on that date.

H: Seven teenagers were discovered that day, killed, disemboweled. I was working the case but couldn't find any evidence.

J: And you were removed from the case after a visit to the shrink on... (sound of rustling papers) January 17th 2007, it says here due to post-traumatic stress.

H: He thought I was becoming obsessed.

J: With the case? Or with this 'Slender Man'?

H: Both

J: I see. You also failed to go to any of your appointments after that.

H: I went to one other, but it wasn't helping me, is this why I'm here? Can I leave?

J: We're getting to that Harry. After that you became an unlicensed private investigator, naughty. Two years later, March 5th 2009 you were on Tv, I watched it.

H: Yes I know where this is going.

J: Oh good. You tried to have a man acquitted of murder and child molestation. Your defense was and I quote, "Slender Man did it."

H: Francis and I investigated that, we found no evidence connecting it to the father.

J: Ah yes Francis. When did you first meet Francis?

H: I don't know, a few years ago.

J: How did you two meet?

H: I don't know, I can't remember.

J: You can't remember? That's strange.

H: What is this about god dammit?!

J: Sit down Mr. Cobain! My officers tell me of your story, a man, 'Derek', comes to you with a problem, you travel to Pine Bluff, and this 'Slender Man' attacks you and you pass out yes?

H: Yes that's right.

J: Although when we interviewed the waitress in Phoenix she said you were on your own.

H: What?

J: And the brown chevy, 'Derek's' brown chevy is registered in your name, the gun too.

H: Wait, I don't understand-

J: Your keys have specks of brown paint consistent to that of your car.

H: No. Wait-

J: The barmaids at the Hampton Inn also say that you were on your own, and drunk.

H: But-

J: And we found you in the woods, passed out, fifteen yards from your daughter's decomposing corpse with three rounds in her chest! She'd been there for weeks! Explain that Mr. Cobain!

H: (Sound of splashing water [Presumably Harry vomiting]) No, no it's not true.

J: You're an unwell man Mr. Cobain. You've made these people up, you've made this whole story up to shield you from the horror of what you did.

H: No! (Sobs)

J: We found your wife's divorce papers, she was taking the girl wasn't she?

H: (More sobs)

J: You're a sick man Harry, I'll see to it you get help.

H: Sally...

The tap ends here. Harry was later found guilty in a court of law for the murder of his daughter, Sally. He was sent to a mental health institution for further treatment. Unfortunately Harry bit through his own wrists on April 19th 2012, he wrote a symbol on the wall in his blood. A circle with a cross through it.
