28. I won't let him hurt you

I looked to face back at the fair, but found it was a big mistake. There he was, still staring at me and smirking evilly. I wanted to get out of here; I wanted to be somewhere safe as soon as possible. I turned towards the handle of the car door, and started jolting it open violently.

“Open this door now. I need to get away from here!” I said, my voice shaking, and tears rolling out of my eyes like fountains.

“Hey calm down.” Liam said whilst trying his best to open the door as fast as he can. Everyone piled in. Liam started the car, whilst I held Harry close to me, shivering.

As the car drove off, I glanced at my window. Damen was still there watching me, only this time he waved, as I left. What was I going to do? What if he follows me home? What if he hurts anyone else – Liam? I gasped at the thought. Harry tried to calm me down by rubbing circles on my back. I took Niall’s hand to calm myself down.

I looked out of the window up to the sky. The weather went down, along with our moods. The sun had disappeared and dark grey clouds, started to form. It was the kind of atmosphere from a horror movie – it certainly felt like one.

The journey home was quite. Nobody dared to break the science that had crept upon us. I knew it was my fault that the mood suddenly went down, but I saw what I saw. Moreover, what I saw was no hallucination. He was there. One look at him and all the terrifying memories came flooding back. A shiver ran down my spine.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when the car came to a halt. Everyone got out, waited until myself, and harry clambered out. Haz opened the front door and led me inside. Someone closed the door shut with so much force, that I jumped at the sound.

“What was that?” I exclaimed. Liam quickly ran by my side and comforted me.

“Sorry, Ally. I didn’t mean to startle you.” He said soothingly. I couldn’t blame him for having so much force and anger right now. However part of me has never seen this side of Liam before.

“Guys I’m going to take her upstairs.” Harry announced. Only on his face, there was a mixture of rage and worry. I didn’t like seeing him like that so I took his arm in my grasp, whilst we walked upstairs.

As soon as I saw our room door, I sprinted towards it, with harry hot on my tail. One we were inside, I slammed the door shut and leaned against it with my back. Harry sat next to me.

“Don’t worry, Ally. I won’t let anything happen to you.” He whispered in his husky voice. I knew what he said was true, but it wasn’t me I was worried about. It was them. I couldn’t let anything happen to them. I knew the sort of stuff Damen could do. He would go to any extent to hurt someone – even kill them.

Once again, I was snatched away from my thoughts by a loud grumbling sound. I clutched onto Harry’s shirt and buried my head into his chest.

“Ssh, it’s okay.” He said whilst holding me close to him. I heard -what seemed like thunder- again. This time I saw a blue light flash into the room and screamed.

I wondered about Liam and the rest of the boys. What would happen to them if, Damen followed me home? Would he hurt them? I couldn’t bare the site of them being tortured to death. Especially Liam. Li was the only person that made me seem worth it. He made me seem special, which was exactly the opposite of what Damen had ever done. Damen had scarred me, and I didn’t want him to scar them too.

Without thinking, I got up forcefully and opened the door. Harry got up with me, but I left him behind, raced down the stairs, and burst into the living room.

Liam’s P.O.V

This was bad, this was very bad. I knew Ally would never act like that for a joke. This was a serious matter. When she screamed and said she saw Damen. I wanted to go to whoever he was and just punch their face.

Damen hurt her, and left other people to pick of the pieces of her broken heart. He scarred her for life and left bad memories haunting her. If only I knew what he looked like, I would have squirted the guts out of him, and left him there to die in pain.

My thoughts were interrupted by the storm that was brewing. I on the other hand, didn’t notice because of my anger. I’ve never acted like this before. I am so worried. Especially for my dearest Ally. I can’t have her being hurt again. I promised her that I will never let myself or anyone hurt her, and that’s what I’m planning on doing.

We were all in the living room. Niall and Zayn were both holding baseball bats and what not. I was pacing the floors, ready to strike if anything happened. I wasn’t going to let him hurt my Ally.

Myself, Niall and Zayn were going to strike when we heard the living room door bust open, but stopped when I saw it was Ally. She had tear marks on her pink flustered face. Ally looked so weak and fragil, like she could break at any second.

Another loud sound of thunder, Ally scremed and ran towards me. Clutching on to me, for her dear life. I looked over at Niall and Zayn, they looked close to tears.

“Be strong guys.” I mouthed to them. They nodded one sturdy nod, ad went back into their defence places.

Ally was still holding on to me. I took her by the shoulders so I could see her. I pained me to see her in this state. I lifted up her chin so she was looking me in the eyes.

“It’s going to be alright, babe. I’m not going to let you get hurt. We are all here for you. Always remember that.” I whispered to her, tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear. I forced my mouth to smile, but the corners of my mouth would only refuse.

Suddenly a loud crash sound came from outside, along with shocking blue lighting only seconds after. Ally quickly turned her head away from me.

Ally’s P.O.V

I turned my head to where the sound was most likely to come from. There he was. Damen. He was staring at me with his dark black eyes, through the glass door. His sharp chin touched his neck, whilst his eyed looked up at me. His eyebrows were scrunched together while the raindrops slowly made there was across his face. Damen’s mouth was curved up evilly and his fists were clenched. He stood outside, in the pouring rain making his hair jet black and shiny, sticking to his forehead. Then Damen gave me a great, big, evil, smirk.
