9. Part 8 - I Give Up

Dreams…that’s where I have to go

Part 8; I give up

It had been two weeks now, two weeks since we and Niall started dating, two weeks since dance rehearsals began for the tour. My dance contract was now officially signed and I had started with my dance agency as well. These past two weeks had been hard work, especially since I was working with Liam by my side which was hard work. You could tell he hated the guts out of me all because I’d come back, but not for him yet he didn’t believe me. Niall could tell it was bugging me, but I was trying not to show it. For now I had to continue focusing on my career of dance, something I’ve always wanted to do. My alarm went off as I stumbled out of bed in pain, a pain around my rib cage, a pain that made me cripple over in pain. It soon disappeared and I carried on with getting in the shower and getting ready. When I got out the shower, my phone was ringing, it was Niall.

“Good morning Niall.” I said answering the phone.

“Hey gorgeous, me and the boys are coming to the studios do you want us to knock for you?” He asked just as I crippled over in pain again. I tried to hold in the pain and tried too answer Niall.

“Mollie, you still there?” He asked.

“Yeah, I’m still here and that would great.” I replied.

“See you in a bit!” He said and the line went dead.

The day went on and I was suffering my pain in silence still. No one had really noticed I was in pain but you could tell they had noticed I was struggling, I didn’t know what was wrong. It was time for lunch now which meant I could get some time to relax without struggling in pain. Before I could catch up with Niall, he stormed out with Liam.  As I followed with the other backing dancers, Zayn, Louis and Harry all we could hear were shouting. I, Zayn, Louis and Harry followed the shouting while everyone else headed to the canteen. When we reached the shouting, we found Niall and Liam screaming at each other.

“Niall, she doesn’t love you though…she’s only come back for me you know it’s true. I don’t even know what you see in her, there’s nothing special about her.” Liam said.

“She’s my princess though, I see something special in her that no one else sees. Why is it you hate her so much?” Niall defended. It took some time before Liam replied.

“For a reason you don’t need to know. She doesn’t deserve this opportunity; there are many better dancers out there than her.” Just as Liam said this I broke it to tears, it was heart breaking, I couldn’t take it any more. it was only then Liam and Niall realised me, Zayn, Louis and Harry were standing behind them. Zayn pulled me in to his chest as I cried my heart out. When I pulled away, Niall walked up to hug me.

“Niall, Liam’s right there’s nothing special about me. I don’t deserve this opportunity.” I cried pushing him away. Just as I was about to walk away, I crippled over in pain.

“Mollie…” The boys said.

“Don’t even bother, I’m fine.” I demanded before walking away.

I walked home in a fury, knowing that now my whole life could be over. As much as I tried to ignore him, Niall still kept ringing me…I didn’t deserve him anymore. Liam was right though, what did Niall see in me? Why was I his princess? Why did I get picked for this job in the first place? All these questions ran through my head as I leaned over in pain one more time as I reached the top of the stairs. Struggling, I rummaged through my bag for my doors keys and slammed the door open. I grabbed my case and literally threw all my clothes and belongings in it, I was so annoyed. My decision was final, I was going back to Wolverhampton as  London no longer needed me. Collecting up all my bags, I dragged all my bags down the stairs bearing the pain of both heartbreak and in my ribs. I was soon at the station and queued for my ticket home.

“One way ticket to Wolverhampton please?” I asked the lady behind the counter.

“Sure, that will be £15 please.” She replied. I handed her the money and took my ticket. Quickly I grabbed some food and drink then made my way up to the platform.

When I reached the platform, it was rather empty and barely anyone was around. There was only one other person on the platform, which for some reason I felt like I knew. This person looked so recognizable, they looked a bit like Zayn from where they were standing.  They came and sat down next to me, that’s when we turned to each other…it was Zayn. I snapped my head away instantly.

“Why are you here?” I asked.

“To speak to you about Niall…” He replied.

“Why? Its over between us now, I’m not good enough for him.” I moaned.

“You don’t know how much he means to you though, you’re his princess.” Zayn begged.

“Look Zayn, I wouldn’t bother trying anymore. just let me go my own way.” I said standing up as my train pulled in to the station. I crippled over in pain as is stopped.

“Mollie are you alright?” Zayn asked rushing to my side. That’s when everything went dizzy and passed out, that being the last thing I remember.
