Dreams…that’s where I have to go

Part 2; Why are you falling for me?

The next day, I had to make my way back home to Wolverhampton for a week. It was mid October which meant college had a week of for half term. The girls were also making their way back to Wolverhampton with me, so I wasn’t alone. We were half way home and on the train as we speak. The girls were all typing away at there home, as I was too. I logged on to my twitter to find a load of congratulations tweets from my success yesterday. All over my timeline was rumours as usual though; one of them being that Liam was back in Wolverhampton today as well.

“Girls…?” I asked as we all looked up from what we were doing.

“Do you know if Liam is back in Wolverhampton?” I asked. They both looked at each other.

“I’m not sure; we’ll have to see when we get back home.” Mara replied.

“Anyway, we’ve got to swap trains now.” Alex announced.

I’d just got back to Wolverhampton and got my taxi home. Normally mum would pick me up, but she didn’t think I was coming home for another few days. When my taxi pulled up outside my house, I fumbled around in my bag to find my purse. As I paid the driver, I noticed a piece of paper. I unfolded it to find Nialls number he’d given me yesterday after boot camp. A smile fixed my face; I was still yet to phone him as well. Being honest, I didn’t even know why he gave me his number there was never anything special about me. For now, I stuffed the number back in my pocket and made my way to the front door. As I put my key in the door, I noticed a crowd of fans appear as a car pulled up outside the Paynes house. Liam was back. I ignored him and went inside. As I crept through the front door, my mum was walking down the hall way.

“Hey Mary…” She said believing I was Mary, my sister.

“Hey mum, I’m home.” I called. Mum then stood up straight and blinked twice as I was stood there before her.

“MOLLIE!” She screamed as I ran to hug her. I was home.

After unpacking my bags and putting things in the wash, I finally relaxed on my bed. As I relaxed I replied to a load of texts that I was yet to catch up on and just caught up with friends. I waited for replies and decided to call Niall as I hadn’t much to do. Traipsing through my back, I pulled out the piece of paper with his number on and dialled his number. As it rang I walked round my room waiting for an answer.

“Hello…” An Irish accent said.

“Hi Niall, its Mollie from boot camp yesterday.” I replied.

“Ahh! Finally, I’ve been waiting on your call!” He said, from then on I was unsure what to say.

“Are you ok? You seem very quiet.” He commented.

“Its just, it was weird how you gave me your number. We barely know each other and I just found it…surprising. What is it you see in me? Why give me your number?” I questioned.

“There’s something different about you Mollie, the way you danced gave off so many emotions, and it’s your body language. You really stood out from everyone else.” He replied.

“Alright, I get it…you like. This is what I always get told when someone likes me. I’m not rushing in to relationships, especially when it’s some one like you because of my last relationship.” I explained.

“Look, I don’t want to be rude but I care about you. What happened?” He asked.

“Liam happened. Yeah, I and him dated. 4 years later he dumped for his music, because I was no longer needed. Oh and did I mention, I didn’t come back for him I came back for a chance because I was close to giving on my whole life.” I said walking over to the window.

“That’s why he backed down on you then…” Niall said.

“Yeah because of the past, but I’ve moved on now and focused on my future.” Just as I said that, my sister Mary came walking down the road with my brother Jamie.

“Niall I have to go now, I’ll see you soon or when ever rehearsals begin.” I announced.

“Wait…” But it was too late, I was gone.

I ran down stairs and sat in the living room. As mum walked through to answer the door, I signalled for her to be quiet about me being here. I heard the front door open as Charlie and Mary walked in. you could hear Charlies foot steps as he came running in to the living room. Charlie was the youngest out of the 3 of us he was only 5 and not long started school He spun on his heel and froze for a moment.

“Mollie!” He screamed and ran towards me, jumping in to my arms. Suddenly Mary came in as I hugged Charlie. She stood there stunned, unsure how to react.

“Your home!” She gasped.

“I’m back, but only for a few days. I move in to my new flat Friday as well, but I’m home.” I replied. we sat for ages just chatting. Mum and Mary were coming to London on Friday for the weekend, so I offered to look after Charlie till Sunday evening. Therefore mum would pay me a bit that then helped me out to pay for food and things for college. Charlie always loved coming to see me anyway and this would be the first time since I started college he had come to stay with me. now I’d told him he was staying, he was all excited. I gotta love my little brother.

Later that night, it was about 10pm and by now, everyone was getting in to bed. I was doing the last of the course work I had to do that was due in after the holidays and packing up some of my boxes. Suddenly my phone started ringing, it was Niall.

“Hey Niall.” I said answering the phone.

“Finally! I’ve been trying to get hold of you for hours, I’m so sorry about earlier.” He apologised.

“Its fine Niall.” I replied.

“All I wanted to say was do you fancy meeting up for a coffee soon?” He asked.

“I’d loved to, unfortunately I can’t do it till late Thursday otherwise I’m looking after my little brother till late Sunday.” I explained.

“Well I’m around Thursday if you want to meet up?” He offered.

“That would great.” I replied.

“Alright, meet me at Starbucks on Oxford Street for 5pm if you can do it?” He asked.

“See you then!” I said.

“Bye…” He said and the called end. Oh my.
