17. Not So Hidden Problems (explicit)

Why can't you stop what's happening to me?
You cannot help what you cannot see.

This world is fucked and we are the victim.
A sentence of torture or final dictum.

Anti-depressants your only cure.
Subduing the ones that live so pure.

I have seen the darkest side.
I know of the youthful that reside.

I have bared witness to the pains.
I have seen that no one gains.

I was there when the curtain fell.
When our substance sent us all to hell.

I was there when the tears were shed.
When we all shared the same bed.

Why can't you see what's happening to me?
Why can't you stop it! Tell me.

The pain is everywhere don't you know?
For us theres no place we can go.

The vulnerable young are getting younger .
But the isolation is gripping tighter.

There is something you need to know.
It is a problem that will not go.
