Right next to You - One Direction

Nana is a 16 year old girl, better known as Niall Horan's girlfriend. Their relationship is totally fine, but what happens when reality starts to reach and prevent their dreamy-love-life? When a tragic event turns upside down on their daily routine? Will they stick together or face the fact that they have to let go? Read "Right next to You" to find out! Also, I wanna thank Ditte Hallenberg very much for helping me out, she's absolutely amazing.

6. Airplanes in the night sky

I was freezing in the plane, so I looked after a blanket inside my bag. Liam had told me, about laying a blanket in it, but I wasn't paying enough attention to hear if he had put it in the suitcase, or my bag. I couldn't find it, it must’ve been in the suitcase, and now it was too late to get it. "Whatever" I said to myself, I didn't want Sarah to hear me.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"Liam said that he… I can't find my blanket" I replied.

"You can borrow mine?" she was already about to find it.

"Really? Thank you Sarah!" I smiled, while she handed me the blanket.

I wanted to chat with Sarah, but I was so tired, I had to rest. Then I finally fell to sleep.

I saw Niall’s pretty face.

"Where have you been?" I asked.

He didn't answer, but kissed me instead. I would love to kiss him longer, but I needed to know what was happening.

"Where have you been?" I asked again.

“What are you talking about? I’ve been here the whole time." he asked confused.

"No? You haven't? And why did your mum want me to come to Ireland?"

Now I was the one, who was confused! He pulled me away from his warm chest, walked away, and left me alone. I looked around. It was all dark. I didn't know what to do. I fell to the ground, and started to cry.

"Come back!" I cried, and begged him, but he didn't come back.

Did I just loose Niall? Again?

Sarah’s soft voice woke me up:

"The plane lands in eight minutes, sweetie".

Thank God it was only a dream!

"You must have had nightmares.”

She said after seeing the expression on my face.

“Yeah…” I said and sighed.

I could feel that she wanted to cheer me up, when she suddenly said;

“Actually, why are you going to Ireland? I haven't even asked you yet!” She said and giggled. Sarah was always so positive and happy.

"Yeah, it's a pretty long story… Umm, it started -"

We were disturbed by a girl, who was about thirteen years old, I believe.

"Nana?" she poked me on the shoulder.

At first I didn't understand, how she knew my name, but then I saw her shirt, that said ONE DIRECTION, and had a picture of the boys on it, and finally understood.

"Yes dear?" All I wanted was to go back to sleep again, but I didn’t want to appear as arrogant.

"Can I please get a picture?" she asked smiling.

"Of course" I said, and handed Sarah the girl’s camera.

After Sarah had taken the picture, she gave the camera back to the girl. She was just about to go back to her seat, when she accidentally toppled my cocoa. It was really hot and it was all over Sarah’s blanket.

"OH MY GOD, I'M SO SORRY! I'M REALLY SORRY!" the little girl shouted. Bet she was chocked.

"Never mind sweetie! It’s okay, it’s okay" I said hurry.

It actually wasn't okay, because there was cocoa everywhere, but I couldn't blame it on her.

We spent the last few minutes to clean the carpet and Sarah's blanket. Suddenly it was time to get off the plane, and pick up our luggage. I hugged Sarah goodbye, thanked her for everything, and got her new phone number. Now I stood here, in Mullingar, with my bag and pink suitcase by my side, and didn't know what to do. Maura hadn't texted what I should do after I had arrived, so I decided to text her, and she replied to me really fast. When I read the address she wanted me to go to, I could hardly believe it. This couldn't be true!
