The Mystery of the Writing Urge

I am writing about my holiday in France.
I haven't been abroad for ages. Only been once. I'm Nia Collins... and I can't stop writing.
What's come over me?!
THERE WILL BE A SEQUEL TO THIS BOOK!!!

1. Holidays

"What?!?" I shouted, and rushed downstairs to see if I can believe my ears or not.
"It's booked, we're going on holiday to France for a week, dear." said my mum.
I haven't been abroad for 10 years (and if I'm 11, guess how old I was when I went!!).
"We know you don't like writing, but this might help you," said Dad. "A diary."
I haven't had a diary before. I think it was to write my feelings in. I think it WILL help.
Rushing up the stairs, I screeched, "Paula, Paula!" Paula was my 14-year-old sister. "Urgeeeent!! We're going on holiday to France for a WEEK!!!" I could have guessed... applying make-up in her room. She poked her head out.
"Cool." But you could tell she was interested.
She finished putting on her Ooh La La Extra length rubbishy mascara ooooo!! Hmm. I actually exaggerated that. Suddenly, BOOM BOOM BOOM.
"I'M FREEEEEEE!!!!" she said. More like YAHOO, I'VE PAID MY ANIMAL CROSSING MORTGAGE or YAHOO, WORK'S FINISHED!!!
But inside I just MIGHT be thinking the same thing.
