My Writing Diary

This is just the steps I use here, and maybe a few inspiration notes. If you're interested, read it, but if you're not, please don't read it then insult me. :( Anyway, this will refer to other people's movellas, so if you choose to follow these steps with me, you might want to find them. That's all!

1. My Steps

Date: 16th March 2012

Location: GB

Current Writing Focuses: 'Small' and 'A Chance At Fame'.

I was lecturing myself on the subject of writing, and I came up with these, then jotted them down on some paper. I thought I'd publish them here, for whatever purposes you see fit. They've been altered in terms of making sense, protecting identites, etc. etc. Please read the description. In case you haven't, here it is:

1. Write your first draft.

2. Check it once, and make as many improvements as possible.

3. Check out a movella called: 'How to write a story that doesn't suck' By Whitman. It's got great advice, and personally, I find it funny. Great Job Whitman! Anyway, make sure your story basically follows those rules.

4. Check your writing again, with this new knowledge from the movella, and make as many improvements as possible.

5. Isolate the not-so-good parts, or the parts that need extending or rewriting, and work on them. And not just once, as many times as it takes to make it your best.

6. Read it.

7. If it's, in your opinion, right, then publish it!

Now I'm going to go and work on a chapter of Small, see you soon!
