1. She had given up.

The circumstance.

The circumstance that occurred that day was far worse than I had initially pre-empted.

I saw her there standing, hands military by her sides. Eyes bright blue and sparkling from the water that drizzled down and a secret, a dark  secret lurked behind them -but it was if the key to open that secret had disappeared ,was lost-, she needed a reason to go and look for that happiness she longed to endure, as she had enough reasons not to.. The expression explained it all .Confused. lonely…desperate!

The circumstance that occurred that day was far worse than I had initially pre-empted.

Her walk stiff and ominous a slight fall made it clear that she was scared, But where was she off to-the only thing in front of her lay a train track, only a train track.

The circumstance that occurred that day was far worse than I had initially pre-empted.

I stood there watching from the opposite lane- there she was , now centimetres away from the ...edge? Her eyes filled with tears and arms no longer by her side but loosely floating in the air and she was leaning forward. No, I thought but flinched with  anxiety; I had never seen this girl before but knew what she was thinking could see what she thinking- a perfect image of loneliness conjured up in my mind her eyes kept reminding me of  how emotional us humans are and how easy it is to simply... give up.

The circumstance that day was far, far worse than I had initially pre-empted

. She was no longer on the opposite lane from where I was, no longer centimetres away from the edge, She had jumped, and ultimately –given up.
