1. Wishes don't work

"When I look up to the stars, there's a burning deep inside me, and I feel the power growing in my soul... I can do anything at all, with this hope to drive me onward, if i can just believe, in meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..."

After singing that song for 9 years, you get that used to singing it every week in assembly that it becomes as much a part of your life as getting up and brushing your teeth. Maybe they'll let me go to seniors in September, so i dont have to endure it 3 times a week. Yep, thats right, 12 years old and still in primary school. They don't often keep primary school kids back a year, but, you know, i'm different. Don't judge me because i'm not the brightest person!!!! My nan said it's not nice to judge a book by it's cover. Don't know what thats all about, but, you know! I couldn't care less about what people think about me. I'm a nice person, and brains don't get your friends, right?

Anyway, I tried wishes last March when my senior school results came. Didn't work. Didn't get accepted in any of them, and i got told by my headteacher that they were going to keep me back a year. Thanks.

I tried wishes when i took a test to see if i could get into a local school. Didn't work.

I tried wishes when i re-took that test. Failed Miserably. With a capital 'M'.

See. Wishes don't work. At all.
