9. Chapter 9

Fraser’s P.O.V

“I saw you blush!” I sang as she walked out of the music room. I went back to studying the guitars at the back of the room when I heard Olly’s voice.

“You work fast.” He was sat on one of the tables closest to me. I shrugged. “I didn’t imagine you’d go out with her.”

“Why not?” I turned to face him. He smirked.

“Didn’t think she was your type,” he said.

“Unlike you, I don’t have a specific type,” putting air quotes around the word ‘type’

“You know what you have to do right?”

“No. What?”

“You have to break up with her.”

“Why?!” I asked angrily.

“We had a deal,” he said calmly.

“I don’t remember a deal.” He rolled his eyes.

“Fine. We didn’t have a deal. But relationships don’t work with you.”

“What are you talking about?”

“Don’t you remember when you dated Faiths best friend.” I sighed. Annabelle. We’d gone to a party and there was some girl drunk outside in the back garden and she was crying. I went out the back to see if she was alright and she threw herself at me. Let’s just say we were caught in a compromising position when Annabelle came out.

She wouldn’t listen to reason and found a way to sabotage any other relationship I had.

“Annabelle moved away last month.”

“That doesn’t mean there isn’t someone to hurt either you or Siobhan.”

“I’m not breaking up with her!”

“It would be better if you did…”

“Dammit!” I yelled. “I’m NOT going to break up with her! There is no reason to so just leave it!” I slammed out of the room and went to find Shiv.

She was stood by her locker talking to Faith and she looked pretty confused. Please don’t let them be talking about Annabelle.

“Hey Faith,” I interrupted her.

“Fraser,” she said coldly. She believed Annabelle’s side of the story and wouldn’t even listen to me. “See you later Siobhan.” She walked off.

“What was that about?” Siobhan still seemed clueless and I was relieved. I shrugged and put it to the back of my mind.

Siobhan’s P.O.V

“Are you coming to the Spring dance?” Bex asked throwing her phone up in the air on my bed.

“Why not.”

“Are you going to come on the beach trip afterwards?”

“I don’t think I will…”

“Fraser’s coming,” she said poking me in the side playfully.

“That’s not going to change my mind,” I laughed. She fake gasped.

“It should! Well me going should anyway!”

“I have to ask…”

I doubted I’d be allowed. I’d basically only just got back to being myself again.

“Do it now!”

“Come on then,” I grumbled. She skipped down the stairs to the kitchen.

“Hey Rachel!” she said cheerfully

“Rebecca,” my mum smiled. She was probably the only person that got away with calling Bex that.

“Hey mum, can I go on the beach trip?” A flash on worry went over her face.

“When is it?” I looked at Bex.

“Two weeks,” she said. We both looked at my mum hopefully.

“You can go.”

“Thank you!” I squealed. Bex and I started doing our happy dance.

“Get out of my kitchen!” my mum scolded us, but she wasn’t being serious. We laughed and took our happy dance to the front room instead.
