Sixth Legion Victrix

I enjoy reading, writing, Astronomy, Greek/Roman/Egyptian and other mythologies, singing, ancient cultures (Middle Ages and back further in time) and Les Miserables!

But most importantly, I love my Honors Class. With you guys, I have had the best 7th Grade a person could have.

So many memories have been created, shared, explained, and just wondered about. It takes all 22 of us to make a complete class. I will miss you all next year!

  • Anyone Else Notice The Elephant Tusks?

    I was watching Les Mis fot the 4.5th time, and when they were building the barricade, I finally noticed the elephant tusks! (I noticed the two coffins last time) Anyone else see them? I am wondering how the Heqet the Les Amis found them......(maybe from the giant elephant from earlier?)

  • Goals for the Summer

    Sixth Legion VictrixAlthough it's already a week and two days into summer, here are some goals I am setting for myself!

    *Become somewhat, if not completely ambidextrous
    *Read Les Miserables in its entirety! (My dad got the book for me! It is so heavy! Imagine HP Order of the Phoenix combined with Prisoner of Azkaban. And the font is small!)
    *Learn French (Or at least basic French)
    *Have a Capture the Flag game in the mini-forest in my backyard. (It's huge!)
    *Memorize the Erudite Manifesto
    *Learn how to do a backbend! (Preferably before my best friend gets back from India......!)
    *Find a new stick. (I think the people re-mulching my lawn did something with it.....)

    So, there are my goals! What about you peoples?

    No, I have not heard of that. What's it about? I have to lie about my age on various websites too! (Although I kept it almsot accurate for Movellas)

    True, true. Haha, Italiasn bread! (Panem means bread, although you probably knew that!) My friend once was talking to Cleverbot, and ended up talking about a chicken named Benito! Later, I was doing some reading, and then tried to explain to her the concept of Benito Mussolini, (spelling?) She did not get it at all, (she named her pet rock Benito Jr.!) but when she told her dad about the rock, he's like, "Benito Mussolini?" Great minds think alike! Ah...those fascists.

    If you want to hold a nice Dauntless conversation, go talk to Sandstorm! I might have mentioned her earlier.......
    Ariadne WightHaha, ummh, well Phantom: Requeim for the Phantom is about this Japanese kid traveling in the US who gets kidnapped, has his memory erased, and then is trained into an assassin by an evil orginization known as Inferno. It's a pretty great story.

    Hey, has anyone else noticed that A) Hunger Games isn't really that original, and she just took the plots of a couple different stories and smashed them together. And B) None of the names are creative at all! I mean really, the baker named Pita. That one just kills me.

    Huh...noa that you mention it, you're right. She took the love trianglw from Twilight, the gladiator games from the Romans, and Girl on Fire from Alicia Keys. (Wait.....what came first? The song or HG?) I mean, the Capitol names are mostly all Roman! You are right!
