I'm just your average 14 year old girl going through school and hanging with my friends when I can. I love poetry and other writing. It is a place in which I can escape from the world and pour out my feelings or tell events from my view but in a way that doesn't always make it so obvious what it's about. Writing is something that helps me through the good times and the bad. It's actually quite funny, I never really thought that I would actually become attached to my poetry but if someone took it away from me now... I don't know what I would do. It has become a part of me. Anyway I would appreciate it if people would leave comments on my work and if you REALLY like it, then add it to your favourites and hit that like button!

  • FRUSTRATED!!!!!!

    Sunny CheeI feel like something is missing from my poetry lately....but I can't quite put my finger on it..... It is just so frustrating! I have ideas of what I can write, but when I try to write them.....they just fail. Because I know something isn't working in them. Am I simply thinking and worrying too much? Or is there something I can do to improve? I need your help, dear fans. I fear that this may be the end of my poetry, the end of my writing.

    Sunny CheeI am so sorry that I have not added any new poems lately. I have some that I am working on but they are not finished yet as I like to make sure they are the best they can be before I post them on here for you guys to see. I don't know when my next poem will be but I know that it will be soon. Ish.

  • Happy but scared

    Sunny CheeOkay so there is this guy and we tried to 'meet up ' in the summer but he never showed. He stood me up. But he seems like,super into me and stuff. So, today I talked with him and now we are together. Only thing is I'm scared. Scared that I'll get hurt, scared that he will abuse my trust. But gosh, I'm so HAPPY. I have given him this second chance, now it is time to see whether that was the right decision or not.

    Sunny CheeYesterday I was at school like your average 14 year old and I'd had some pretty good classes. It was lunch and I had just written a new poem and I was going to go show my favourite English teacher. So, I went up to her classroom and there she was. She looked up and shield at me and said "Wait here, I have something for you" and she went off to the faculty office. At this point I was beginning to get excited because I thought that maybe she had heard from a competition on the Young Writers website that I had entered about five months ago. So, I waited and she came back and in her hands was a large white envelope. At this point I screamed with happiness, so loud you could hear me halfway across the school, and she just continued to smile. She handed the envelope over to me and I opened it. Inside was a letter from the Young Writers competition saying that my poem had been chosen to be published in their next anthology!!!!!!!!!!! It also contained a copy of my poem that I had won, an order form for me to purchase the book, and a certificate of merit!!!!!!! I went absolutely CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was screaming, dancing, and going all around crazy and my teacher was just smiling and laughing at me because she had NEVER seen me so happy! So, there you have it guys, I'm going to be a published poet all over the South and East of England by the 30th November :D :D
