About MeMy Movellas - My Mumbles - Favourites

Hi, I'm Simlead. I'm not proud of some of the stories I've written on here, because I think I haven't tried hard enough, so I'm going to finish them and move on. I'm also going to go on an editing spree once I've completed 'A Chance At Fame' and 'Small'. I was testing out genres and different topics, and I think I've found my topic now. Amongst other things, I write mini-books, and I've completed two so far. I have started the third one, but I haven't had chance to get very far, as I'm writing online. I'm moving that series to here, so I'm going to have a lot of fun! I think that's all about me for now. Bye!

And the rest, really, are all extras and other things. I do the story challenge, but you can tell that by looking at my movellas. I'm also trying to get published, which I've been doing since July, so I might not write much on here anyway. Sorry. :( If I suddenly feel like it, though, I will.

    SimleadI've finished 'A Chance At Fame'! Now, I'm going to read 2 pieces today, and that's about it.
    I might start work on another chapter of 'Small' tomorrow. I'm going to make slow progress here, but I'm going to keep going, no giving up.
    I don't exactly have a happy-go-lucky life, but this helps, and I can make it through things. There are some very good people that have my back.

    SimleadTomorrow, I'm reading two pieces on my reading list, and writing for the rest of the day after that. Sorry for not reading your movellas quickly/quicker! :(
    SimleadUgh, not again. Sorry! I'll have to wait til next weekend... Curse addictions. (Not anything serious, it just means something I really like. It's not risking my health, just so you know.)

    But, oh well. :) It's okay 5 minutes to 7pm , so I've still got a couple of hours.

  • Eureka! Sort of...

    SimleadLike I said, I've figured it out. 'It' being my little problem. I'm in a writing competition on another site. I don't know the people who judge it (I mean online type of know them, not the I've-met-you-in-real-life type of know them). And I feel a little unmotivated to continue because of some things. I've figured out that I feel motivated to continue here for two reasons:

    I know some of you, and you are awesome people!
    I can write freestyle too. And there's no pressure to write when I don't want to or rush.

    Now, I know some people on the site that hosts the competition, but they aren't the judges. And I only know some of the entrants, so I feel all unfamilar with it. Yes, I can write freestyle write on that site too, but I can drop out and still write freestyle, so no motivation there. I will, however continue. But I'm just posting here to say I figured it out.

    I'm not going to post it on my blog there because I'm not sure how they'll take it. It is not a case of 'don't post stuff you don't want people to see' because I don't mind them seeing it. I just don't know how they'll take it so I'm taking precautions. If the judges do happen to wander over here, then this is meant to be no offence to you, just a personal note to myself. I know you're good people really, I just don't know you, so I'm nervous.
    SimleadI may be a pessemist (and that may be spelt wrong because I'm rushing this), but I've learnt that a little positive thinking makes it easier sometimes.

  • ****ATTENTION****

    SimleadToday, I'm going to work on 'A Chance At Fame'. I've got to do a computer scan aswell, and with the Antivirus I've got, it takes AGES and really slows my computer down, so I'll be doing that first.
    A Chance At Fame will have 4 more chapters, and they might be a bit short, but oh well.
    Sorry for the all caps title, it's just for eye-catching. Two points I just want to say:
    1. I will only be here on weekends or times in the week when I'm free.
    2. I'm working on drawn covers!

    SimleadP.S. I don't think I'll be going round asking people to read ACAF (at least not as much as with 'Small'), other than movellas on my reading list. If I read your movella, and you've already read one of mine, and I ask you to read ACAF, then you're perfectly welcome to request that I read a second movella of your's. :) As long as you do check out ACAF.
