Hey, is anyone interested in co authoring for that new competition? It looks pretty fun sorry I haven't been on in ages, so no one will probably see this, but worth a shot!

That's great! But aw no, that sucks :/ at least you'll have the chance to go somewhere new and everything ! Do you need to speak Danish? :)
And Jesus American uni fees are high, we have a max of £9000 a year, so like €14000?

Yes! I speak a little bit, I can read magazines. I've been using Duolingo to practice. But I really can't wait until I'm in Denmark to start Danish classes!

And wha---- :( Jealous. Yeah, the way it's SUPPOSED to go is that you provide all your parent's financial information to universities and they'll give you aid accordingingly. But virtually what happens every time is the rich pay full tuition which is fine, the poor get full tuition paid for, which is great, and the middle class gets little to no aid and are screwed. So unfair. It assumes that everyones parents will financially contribute, which is just not the case all the time.

That's fab then should be so exciting, I'm jealous!
Ohh that makes sense, like I see why they put that system in, but then it turned out badly :/ really sucks
Don't feel you have to say, but how is your family doing, with all the stuff from a while ago? :/

Betterish (but after being home for 3 weeks, already the disfunction is re-emerging), but I've come to the realization that I will never have a healthy, functional, happy family and that my true family is my friends and my host families.

Aw no :/ Well at least you've got a healthy outlook on it all, and hell, who needs family when you've got friends, as they're the ones that have chosen to love you :)
Jesus, that turned out a bit deep, but you get the general idea :p
