About MeMy Movellas - My Mumbles - Favourites

My name's Daniel, Danny among friends and I am a very passionate gamer in both fun and serious environments.

My writing passion started a long time ago but was shot down to demoralization after sending a full book to several publishers and getting nothing in response.

If you've enjoyed my writing I would very much appreciate a like and a favorite. Feel free to comment as well. Anything from praise to constructional criticism to my writing and the story is very welcome.

  • Don't worry, I'm not dead yet!

    RelaxationIt's been a while hasn't it?

So for those unaware, the Mists of Pandaria Beta, the newest expansion pack to World of Warcraft, has had me incredibly busy with testing the raids, daily quests, dungeons, scenarios, pet battles and much much more.

I've had so much to do that writing has kind of zoned out of my head, but I think it's about time I get another chapter out, so expect to see one either today or tomorrow.

    Until next time!
RelaxationHey Vesp, I noticed you left a comment and I was rather confused by the message. Since I don't actually have time to read all 42 chapters you wrote, I thought I'd ask you more directly what you meant when you said you felt like you had found a long lost brother. :)
RelaxationBeen wanting to get back to writing for a while, but there's sadly a few things in between that I need to take care of first.

Yeah I see what you mean. I am playing on Arathor-EU, but I am currently not very active. The patch coming in a few days is obviously going to change that, but otherwise I am only logging on for raids. Nice talking to you too mate, I'll see you around. You can contact me ingame or leave me an ingame mail to my character Âshe for my real-ID information.

    See you in the mists.
  • Slowing Down

RelaxationAfter the competition has ended, I still plan to keep writing and add more chapters to my novel.

I am however gonna slow down the content being released to a chapter with 2-3 days. I poured a lot of effort and time into making the novel good before the competition ended and now that it's over, I still want to keep up the work, while not tiring myself out.

I find that I write the best I can do when it's under my own circumstances and I am in a good mood. I'd rather bring good content every so often, rather than half-assed content every day. :)
  • I'm sick. D:

RelaxationIf you're an avid reader you're probably thinking.. "Where's the next chapter? It has been like 2-3 days now!"

Well my friends, I am rather sick at the moment and don't have the brain capacity to actually think too much. I will get the next chapter done sometime wednesday, promise!
  • World of Warcraft Competition Deadline!

RelaxationHoly snickes. It's friday, it's 6 am and I finished writing the 19th chapter to Ashes and Arrows before the deadline.

Can you tell I'm excited, because I really am! The competition has a buttload of fantastic entries and it's going to be tough to find deserving winners. I personally hope I place somewhere in there, considering I have put a ton of effort into my novel. And even if I don't place, I will continue to write the novel and the future ones as well.

Writing has come back into my life and I have movellas.com to thanks for it. They have given me the opportunity to pick up the skill I love the most about myself, which is the ability to write something crazy, because I have a crazy imagination.

Thanks to everyone who has read, liked, favorited or commented on my novel, you have given me food for thought and good feedback for the future. Good luck to everyone who entered, may the most creative writer win!
  • To the curious

RelaxationSo in addition to my previous blog post, I figured I'd go ahead and give an explanation to the reason behind a trilogy of novels involving my world of warcraft character.

After looking over how much I have written this far, I figured that it would be better to split up the stories into three parts, rather than having over a hundred chapters in the same novel.

So here is the ROUGH draft of titles to the future novels, which will continue the story:
Ashes And Arrows: The Bright Fire is the first part of the three novels. It tells the tale of how Âshe came to be the way she is today and her adventures through Mount Hyjal.

Ashes And Arrow II: A Gust of Wind is the second part of the three novels. It will include a lot of new characters and follows Âshe and her friends through Uldum.

Ashes And Arrows III: The Destroyer's Destruction is the last and final part of the three novels, which will take Âshe and her allies through a dangerous journey to assist Thrall in bringing down Deathwing.

I hope this "sneak preview" of my future coming novels got you excited and be sure to check back often to read a new chapter.
