I am a Philiosophy and Poetry writer, although I am more than willing to contribute to different genres.

  • The future

    Erling SiegfriedI am quite unsure about what I intend on doing now : being an avid writer but at the same time, not being a fan of Justin Bieber and One Direction, I do not think I will be able to cope with continuing to publish on this website. It is quite unfortunate but I am not very comfortable with writing here. I suppose one could take this post as a post saying "Goodbye" or maybe one saying "See you on the other side", when this fad has died out :). Till then, I thank you all very, very much, for reading my work, trusting me with reviewing and critiqueing yours and just bearing with me.

  • Finally free

    Erling SiegfriedAt last. All deadlines are past and I can once again get back to writing and reviewing.. Apologies for my absences to all those who were expecting my reviews and work but i was incredibly busy. I am back now though ;).
    On a side note, I came across a particularly rude member of this website. Children nowadays have serious respect issues. It is quite sad when kids are unable to hold their tongues when needed. there is a difference between free speech and being incredibly rude.

    Erling SiegfriedThere is a certain entertainment factor in seeing aspiring authors pretend like their work is worthy of being stolen. Most works are unpolished and require serious amendments. They are not bad but require a fair emount of attention. This is where people like myself come in and hope to help authors and hope that we might get help as well.
    Stealing an idea requires the following :
    -Time to bother.
    -Thinking that the idea is good.
    -A level of skill in the genre that the idea blossoms in.
    -Dishonesty.
    Finding all four of the above in one person, although not uncommon, is unlikely.
    Let us put progress before ego and there is no reason why we cannot make it further.

  • Too many niceties

    Erling SiegfriedWe need to be more blunt in our reviews. Why ? Because the honest reviews get the points across. Progress through wounding is quicker than progress through politely mentioning. So get your pens out : it's time to do some constructive damage. Help people. Because we cannot rely on them helping themselves. Would they not help themselves if they knew that they needed help in the first place ? We can only help each other but not ourselves. Think about that.

    Erling SiegfriedThis past week has been extremely busy. And the two weeks coming up will be pretty bad too.
    This past weekend I had a thirty hour coding marathon competition which went quite well too ;). Busy. But it's all good. Am back to do more reviews for a bit and provide feedback, and contiue writing movellas ;).
