1. Best Breakfast Ever
I woke to the sound of girls screaming outside of the hotel. When did they get here? I wondered, so curious about why they were making so much noise. However my curiosity did not get the better of me yet as I decided after my long flight from Sydney, what I needed right now was a shower. I would be spending a month in England then a month in Ireland; I had already spent a month in Scotland.
As I came out of the shower with my long, thick, brown, curly hair dripping with water, I noticed that the noise was louder than before. As I put on the layers of clothes needed to keep warm I kept wondering what all the commotion was about. Yet again my curiosity did not win over as my stomach was growling at me, reminding me I didn’t even have dinner last night.
I made my way down to the hotel buffet and as I opened the door the smell of freshly made bread, pastries and muffins was overpowering. The sound of sizzling bacon and sausages made me look towards the tables, tables that were piled with food some even with piles of fresh fruit. I stacked my plate with all the food I could, knowing how hungry I was. I sat down and shoved the food in my mouth. I couldn’t believe how hungry I was and how amazing this food was.
“Got enough food there?” I heard a vice say from behind. I was eating a piece of bread so before I turned I quickly swallowed. “Well I have been travelling for a while and haven’t had the best food on the plane last night.” I explained as I turned around. When I turned around I was met by a tall male with brown eyes and brown hair that was well cared for. “I completely understand, you just feeling like a pig but you know that it’s worth it.” He said in a British accent. “I’m Zayn by the way.” He said extending out his hand for me to shake. “I’m Taylor” I said as I shook his hand. I kept thinking I had seen him before but I have never met him. Something was different though and I couldn’t figure it out. “You’re not from around here are you?” Zayn said curiously. “No, I’m from Australia but I’ve been travelling for a while.” I said probably explaining my accent. “I’m from Bradford in Britain” said Zayn, which explained his British accent. As soon as he mentioned Bradford I became aware of where I knew him from and what was so different. With the lack of internet I have had, was unable to find out what has been happening. Zayn of course is from One Direction and that is where I know him from. He had cut his hair so short I didn’t even recognise him. I managed to keep cool and not freak out at the moment I realised this, as it seemed to be going well so far. “Well I have to go find the boys but I’ll be back in 5 minutes so if you’re still here stuffing your face with food ill come and join you” said Zayn smiling. “I don’t think I will be leaving for a while so sure sounds great” I said trying not to freak out at the thought of meeting all of the boys.
