Harry’s Point of View
“Niall I don’t see the point of doing this.” “Just try mate, you haven’t gotten drunk in so long!” I sighed, Niall took me out to get my mind off things, but drinking wasn’t going to solve anything. I lost my best friend, and then I lost my mum. The person who’s stood by me my whole life, from the moment I was born to the day I left for tour. She’s never given up on me, but life gave up on her. “Come on!” Niall was being annoying, I wanted to cry, and I wanted to be alone. No one got that, I was being hurdled around constantly. “Hurry up Harry, before someone recognizes us.” Niall said tapping his foot, I got up and left the bar.
“Wait, Harry!” “Niall leave me alone, I’m going back to the hotel.” “Okay I’ll come with you then.” “No you go finish those shots,” I said trying to get him to leave me alone. “Nah I already had 2 pints; don’t want to get drunk, Liam’s gonna have a spazz.” He said putting his arm around me. “Get off.” I said in anger. “S-sorry.” I sighed, the poor guy was only trying to comfort me, but he didn’t get it, I don’t need anyone. “Sorry Niall, I-I think I just need some time alone, to completely recover.” He nodded and we continued to walk, not another word from either of us.
Niall took the elevator, but I passed and used the stairs, it’d give me some time alone. I saw a mother and her child walking down; her daughter fell down and scraped her knee. “Oh it’s okay honey, mummy’s got you, you’ll be fine.” She kissed her forehead and held her in her arms; a tear cradled the edge of my eye. “Thanks mum, I love you.” I lightly let out a cry, they both looked at me & I rushed up the stairs before they saw me cry. I was at the 5th flight of stairs and and sat down. “Mum, I –- I don’t know if you’re listening, but I miss you, a lot. I love you.” I wiped a tear and got up to join the others.
“Harry, where’ve you been!? You’ve been gone for almost an hour!” I heard Liam roar as I took off my shoes. “Relax Liam, I wanted to be alone.” “Being alone is fine, walking out & not telling us where you are is not.” I rolled my eyes, “Would you stop acting like my father Liam, you’re my band mate not my parent.” My voice was calm and I strutted off to my room. I was about to close the door when I heard Zayn say, “Should we tell him Claire dropped by or…?” “I don’t know how he’ll take it.” Louis added, “He seems pretty heated now we’ll tell him later.” Liam said. I walked out and looked at them, “Claire was h-here?” I managed to choke out.

“Yeah you just missed her; she was here for a good hour.” “Zayn!” Liam snapped, “What? It’s true.” He shrugged his shoulders and took a bite out of his apple. “Why didn’t anyone tell me?” I said even more upset than before. “Because we didn’t know where you were!” Liam snapped at me again. “… and you wouldn’t answer your phone mate.” Louis frowned at me & walked into the kitchen. “When did she leave?” “Like 5 minutes ago.” Zayn said with his mouth stuffed in his apple.
Without another word I raced outside, this may be the only chance I get to see one of the only reasons I’m still alive.
Claire’s Point of View
I didn’t want to see Harry; I still had some anger towards him, but something deep down of me still did. I was still in love with that curly idiot. It was nice meeting the boys, they didn’t mention Harry much & I didn’t either. It was strange though; all of the boys but Harry were there, what a coincidence.
I couldn’t help but worry; Harry doesn’t easily open up to anyone, but me. I was the only one who wasn’t with him, but he didn’t need me anymore he has fans, the boys and the rest of his family.
“Sorry Emma, I got caught up in this book that was on my bed.” I smiled at her apologetically, it was our last hour in the hotel, and we were heading back home in Toronto, Canada. After we had graduated college Emma & I decided to move there, some of Emma’s relatives lived there & there was no reason left for me to be trapped back where I really belonged in Holmes Chapel.
I guess I’ll never see Harry ever again, oh well I’m over it… I think.
Harry’s Point of View
I had checked the lobby, the lounge, almost every floor, but I couldn’t find her it’s like she just vanished. Fate was clearly playing with me, she was here in Mexico, in the same city and hotel, met all the boys, but me. I didn’t even know her new number, her old one stopped working. I sighed and went to the front desk.
“Hello sir!” The tiny Mexican man greeted me with a huge smile.
“Uhm, can you check for reservations under the name Claire?” “One second sir!” I crossed my fingers hoping this would work.
“Oh yes, Claire DeChelo?” “Yes! That’s the one.” I jumped a bit. “Sorry sir, she checked out about half an hour ago.” I groaned and slapped my hand across my forehead and walked away, what were the odds? She left when I was out looking for her.
“Harry?” I heard a familiar voice call and turned around completely astonished.
