Duck lies alone,

Her deep brown eyes shone,

Through the night sky,

Sleepily she lie,

On a pile of cloth,

She thought of a sloth,

She dreamed awake,

About friends and cake,

She smiled at her life,

Though she hid from a knife,

That knife was a glare,

From her owner over there,

Though it was a freindly look,

Like Duck's favourite nook,

And cranny where she stays,

A place comfy where Duck lays,

Away from the world,

Where she can twirl,

Her ballerina feet,

Tapping to the beat,

Its her secret talent,

One she thinks is rather gallant,

She eats like a hog,

Though Duck is a dog!
