The humans are crying, putting their hands over their faces; well, the survivors are...

The cats had been plotting for years, the humans knew something was up but then... They never realised cats could grow thumbs...

And that was the end of the humans... Only few remain, they are either slaves or in hiding. 

'Lucas!' A depressed Italian mother calls. No reply. Instantly she knows the cats with thumbs have taken him, destroyed or enslaved him. She cups her hands over her face and tears spill. 

'My Lucas!'

A British priest is praying. 'Dear God, I love you, make the survivors live, God, amen'. His hands are together, his head looking to the sky. Then a cat comes from behind.

'Meowww.' The cat calls. He knows what that means. Screams are heard before silence.
