2. The Call
She ran to her room, amazed. that did NOT just happen. "I just gave Niall Horan my number!" She squealed. She found it hard to sleep, but her excitement dimmed when she thought he probably won't call. He must do that with every girl. She eventually found sleep after that, not wanting to think about it.
The next morning, she got ready for the concert. She wore her best clothes and did her hair and makeup. The phone rang three times but none of them were Niall. As she got ready to leave, the phone rang. She picked it up expecting it to be her best friend saying she was ready to go. "Adelaide speaking." She said, biting her nails. She never did it normally but she had butterflies in her stomach. "Hi, it's Niall." A voice said. "Oh! Hi," Adelaide said excitedly, "What's up?" She felt nervous. "Um, I wanted to know if you wanted to come to the concert tonight." He asked. "I'm already coming, um, seat 23, row D." She said. "Well do you want to come backstage and meet everyone?" She could hear people in the background yelling things and she giggled. "Sorry," he said, "people are annoying me." She waited a second then said "That's alright and sure, I would love to." He sighed and said, "Ok, great, I'll meet at the back of the arena at 8.00." She felt like jumping around but instead just said, "Awesome, see you then. Bye." Just before she hung up he said, "Oh, and by the way, I like you Adelaide." He hung up then. She couldn't breathe. She fell onto her bed and screamed. This was the best thing that has ever happened.
