when I first met Adrian it was hardly love at first site. The wind was ruffling the branches on the trees, snow frosted the ground and all around looked like a winter wonderland. my mother used to warm me this place was dangerous, told me never to come here yet I could hardly control my curiosity could I? The creek flowed through the forest quietly, hardly a splash on the banks could be heard. footsteps crunched the snow, a shadowy figure strode towards me and I recalled my mother's warnings of this place
"what are you doing here?" the person barked at me. was that a rhetorical question, I was allowed here, the forest didn't belong to anyone. I looked over the boy who now stood in front of me and barley managed to keep my eyes from bulging. Dark brown hair came down just enough to almost cover his deep blue eyes that if they were a shade lighter could have been silver, his skin wasn't like the people's who found in my town because it was copper, tanned. he was quite obviously muscular, he was lean too. his features made him look dangerous and I'm not sure why that intrigued me but I knew why it did also worry me. When I finally stopped gawking I remembered his comment, suffice to say it angered me. who did this jerk think he was? he didn't own the damn forest
"I wanted to be here, that explanation enough for you?" I asked angrily and the boy's eyes narrowed on mine. good, I bloody hoped he was annoyed because I was and we hadn't said so much as a hello yet!
"you should leave here. now." the boys said, his words stressed as though talking to an adolescent.
"I will leave when i damn well want to, who the hell are you?" my voice was getting louder, a sure sign that i was about to lose my temper again. The boy ignored me and turned around, the arrogant ass. As he walked away I found myself watching him, ignoring the ruffling of the branches and the cold of the air. just watching the mystery boy leave.
