Trust is like a piece of string.
Strong, until broken.
And when it is broken,
It's useless and hard to put back together again.
You can tell your friends your biggest secrets.
The secrets you keep from the whole world.
You can be sure they'll keep it confidential.
Or can you?
Fallouts hurt.
What hurts the most is when,
The people you thought you could trust with your life,
Spread your secrets and prove you wrong.
Taking your friends.
Spreading not just secrets, but lies,
And rumours.
And people believe them.
Talking behind your back,
Excluding you.
Leaving you alone and seperate from their world.
Through no fault of your own.
Trust is like a pane of glass.
When it breaks, you can try and fix it.
It will be substantial, and it will work.
But it will never be the same again.
You can try and fix trust.
But nothing will truly heal it.
You make think it has been fixed.
But deep down you know isn't.
And can't be.
